Very comfortable bed, room nicely decorated. Friendly , helpful staff. Good location.

The hotel looks welcoming from the outside and you're not disappointed when you get inside. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere and the staff make it a perfect place to stay; nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was clean, comfortable, light and airy and was maintained to a high standard. The food is excellent; great breakfast menu and different choices on the dinner menu each evening, couldn't ask for more. This was my second stay and hopefully won't be the last.

The staff very kind, friendly, and helpful.
Breakfast nicely cooked and very filling with plenty of choice.
Rooms were clean and tidy
evening meals varied each evening with meat, fish or vegitarian option.
Shower facilities , had big step over into shower tray ( which was neither a tray or a bath) Water temperature difficult to control could be dangerously hot.
Some separate seating area on the lawn as a large party of people occupied all available outside seating.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I had to leave extra early on Tuesday to attend meetings and the staff ensured I had coffee and breakfast even though they were not officially serving at the time.
The room was small but it really isn’t an issue…I’d rather have good service
Nothing really….. for what I paid over a bank holiday weekend I really can’t complain at all.

Lovely little hotel, very clean, very comfortable. Owner, Jonty, and staff very professional, polite and friendly. Great choice of breakfast, beautifully cooked and beautifully presented. Very quiet location but just a short easy walk into town. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Excellent location only minutes from the town and seafront.
Room was spotless. Had evening meal and breakfast which were both very enjoyable with a lot of choice.
Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The breakfast was varied and plentyful .the evening meals were excellent, so much so that we asked the waiter to give our compliments to the chef each evening. The room was beautifully prepared every day and the waiters were absolutely wonderful.

The staff were very nice and couldn't do enough for you. The food was excellent, our compliments to the chef. The location, so many nice walks. The coastal path, the river, across fields. (can be steep and hilly)

The room was really comfortable, well decorated and clean. Breakfast was delicious and extremely well cooked. Best poached egg ever! The staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. The hotel is well situated, only a 5 minute walk from the town centre.

Large clean room with good ensuite, complete with fluffy towels and good bedding. Property was west facing for end of day sun and a 10 mins walk to high street and beach. Staff were really helpful and breakfast very good.
Only downside was the short window for meals - weekend breakfast 8-9. However to be expected post covid/Brexit.

Breakfast fabulous + Black Pudding! Massive Queen size bed - excellent hosts Jonty @ Beverley (Proprietors), great , helpful staff and Lovely surroundings. Would definitely book at The Mount Pleasant Hotel again.
Cant think of anything - thoughts its always nice to have as much pressure and power on your shower as possible.
