Language a minor issue upon checkin, but was able to work through it. Staff did tbeir best to overcome the challenge.

The yard is definitely the highlight - super beautiful views of the fortress, to be honest, probably prettier than being up in the fortress! The kitchen was full of supplies, and the entire house is quite airy.

It is a little out of the way. Requires a 8 minute walk through a residential area, which is fine, but we ran into a drunk guy on our way home one night (obviously not the property’s fault), just the nature of the house

Everything was very good. The location is set under the walls of the 'Old Town' and an easy walk into the main town center. Really well setup. Lovely garden and pet friendly.

Parking is difficult in Carcassonne. We paid for parking via the hosts at the complex right across the street. This was a very good arrangement.

Everything. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Carcassonne - this is it! Absolutely incredible find. The gardens, terrace and views were stunning and the accommodation was so thought out. It had everything we needed and more. The rooms were a great size and very comfortable. Location was great with easy access up the the Citadel. We were met by the owner who went through every detail and shared his local favourites for food; which were amazing choices! He was a wonderful host and we can't wait to come back again soon!

Location was amazing - so close to the Cité yet easy to drive to. The garden is brilliant - multiple levels, seating areas, etc. Property is really quirky and cool - clever design and decor.

Exceptional location and spacious, comfortable home with a beautiful private garden. David met us with the keys, showed us the place, provided maps, key sites, and gave an excellent restaurant recommendation. It could not have been more perfect.

Great location near the cité walls. Great views. Beatiful garden and a quiet place. The gîte is very well equiped and confortable. David was in the reception to give us the keys and explain the basics and what we could do in Christmas.

Nice "house" located next to the citadel, which is in walking distance Garden offers a unique view from the citadel which is mightend in the evening.

Breakfast was provide in one go for the 3 days that we stayed there. Nice fresh baguette and croissants EVERY day would have been nice...Certainy when paid separately

Lovely spacious traditional French house, very close to the medieval cite of Carcassonne. It also has a large, well maintained garden with views of the castle. We made use of the bikes in the garage to explore the surrounding area. David was a very helpful host.

Excellent gite with all modern amenities and nice touches like quality coffee, teas, cold drinks on arrival. Great location to discover the ‘cite’ but a garden of calm too, if you need a rest from travelling. David also recommended some good spots to eat, that were not tourist traps. A great place to spend a couple of nights of Carcassonne discovery. Merci

Only very minor things: The upstairs bedroom did not have curtains on the window. Better lights could be installed in the master bedroom.
