The room was nice, especially the open space bath and the see through glass shower cubicle. Would be awkward if sharing room with friends....lol lol Location was great, between the castle and old town Staff was friendly, gave advice where to eat well. Nice back garden to admire the castle from a distance

Pool was relatively small for the size of the hotel. 4 people in, don't think the 5th would jump in. lol lol We didn't book breakfast, the reception said we could decide in the morning. At around 9.15am next morning, we took a look, no, it did look already tired. So we ate outside, no real issues here. Not a typical 5 star hotel. The reception was not always manned. A few times we went to the reception and no one was there., a nice guy from the bar came and said "I am working in the bar, I am not sure if I could help but I can try "...

Locatie was geweldig ! Hotelkamer zeer ruim en Comfortabel en zwembad heerlijk. En zeer lieve behulpzame dame bij de receptie (van origine uit Haïti)

Ontbijt was erg slecht.. veel eten was op, koffiezetapparaat werkte niet en brood en beleg werd bijna niet aangevuld. Dit kan echt niet voor de prijs dat je betaald

Desayuno y habitación.

No me gustó que NO me calentaran la leche del desayuno. No había microondas, tomo leche vegetal, estaba en un cazo fría, pedí que me la calentaran, durante dos mañanas fue imposible, según ellos. A la tercera fue la vencida... Me pareció un poco extraño que no pudieran calentar un poco de leche en un microondas. Es "una tontería", pero ahí lo dejo.

La ubicación

- La bañera no funcionaba, cuando pagué una habitación superior para que tuviera bañera. - Respecto a la cama pedí que fuera una sola cama, no dos pequeñas juntas, y tampo fue así, eran dos juntas, muy incómodo para dormir en pareja.

L'hôtel est très bien situé a 2 pas de la cité de Carcassonne proche de tout ce qu'il y a voir a Carcassonne. Chambre avec balcon super cosy et lumineuse la salle de bain magnifique. grosse bisous à l'équipe de nuit qui a été génial !!!

Ceux que je n'ai pas apprécié ces que un employé de l'hôtel me vole mon téléphone sur le comptoir puis que sa femme qui travaille aussi dans l'établissement tente de nous intimidé. et que la directrice qui était en vacances à ce moment là ne nous rappelle pas car son adjointe nous a dit qu'elle le ferait pour un geste commercial !

Dieses hotel verdient seine 5* nicht. Wir hatten am ersten abend nur 1set tücher für 2. Grund: hatten keine mehr!!!! Früstück sehr minimalistich.Am letzen morgen lag gefrorenes Brot am buffet. Grund.: zu viele Gäste !!!!Wir sollten es doch toasten !!!! Sauna und whirlpool sowie parkplatz nur gegen aufpreis !!!! 5* !!!! Im Zimmer stand ein aussen Alutisch mit grossen Blumentopfränden !!

Der Blick vom Zimmer auf die Burg von Carcassonne war ein echtes Highlight. Außergewöhnlich war auch die Größe des Zimmers und die schönen, großen und super bequemen Einzelbetten.

Dafür war die Toilette umso kleiner.. Da musste man sich rein quetschen. Bad und Toilette sind getrennt. Es ist etwas hellhörig. Und die Sauberkeit, insbesondere im Frühstücksraum, aber auch im Spa... Waren nicht sehr königlich. 😐

O hotel é realmente bem situado e bonito! Sobre o rio e com vista para a fortificação de carcassonne! Funcionários da recepção muito simpáticos

Alguns apontamentos de falta de limpeza, nomeadamente logo no átrio se entrada um candeeiro com teias de aranha! O pequeno almoço não era de um hotel de 5 estrelas! Tinha falta de funcionários e o próprio buffet era bastante limitado e demoraram muito tempo a repor vários alimentos!

Great location close to the medieval city and a short walk to all the restaurants in the Old City. Our room was very comfortable with a good sized balcony with great views of the medieval city. Enjoyed the pool and relaxing in the garden. Very helpful staff on reception.

La ubicación es buena. Aceptan mascostas. El servicio en la recepción es bueno. No puedo decir que me haya gustado nada más.

El precio es muy alto por lo que ofrece el hotel. Pague 260€ por una habitación mediocre y sucia. Lo contraté con terraza con vistas a la ciudad medieval de Carcassone y las vistas que tenia la habitación era a la parte trasera del hotel. El SPA no va incluido. Si quieres acceder al SPA tiene un suplemento. La limpieza tiene mucho que desear. En teoria el check-in es a las 16h pero eran las 16:30h y aún no estaba lista la habitación. Una vez tuvimos la llave de la habitación vimos que le faltaba limpieza.

La vue sur la cité et le pont médiéval est très belle depuis la terrasse. Une animation musicale (jazz) a pimenté la soirée. La chambre est assez spacieuse, et nantie d'une grande baignoire...

Breakfast expensive

The room was good. It had a Comfortable bed, an excellent shower, a kettle and a coffee maker. It was a bit of a strange shape with a separate toilet without sink so that you had to walk right across the room to wash your hands.

The breakfast was ok. It was very expensive for what it was. There wasn't always much fruit choice and the bread for slicing was defrosted (one time it was still frozen inside), the bread knife was blunt, the croissants were mini ones and poor quality. Most importantly the various foods and the crockery were not replaced as soon as they were used. This was annoying leading to having to ask for cups, bowls, plates and either wait for food to come out or simply not have something that morning. I did raise this with front desk but it seems to me that the breakfast room was just too small for the number of guests, especially when there was a tour party staying.

Very close to the old city. Swimming pool and garden with view of the old city wonderful. Room great.

Those who had been in a 5* hotels before know that this one is not meets the standards. Sorry. The room was full of dust. The balcony looked liked hasn’t been cleaned for a long time (someone’s dirty sock were found in the plant jug). At the check in We were told that a mini bar would be refilled every day. Didn’t happened, and the worst part was that the girl in the reception didn’t even understand what we talked about when we asked to bring more water. Really weird. Toilet without a soap. Someone’s pee… just don’t…

The location is excellent and the views are stunning.

We booked an early check in and received and email the day before to confirm we could check in from 12.30pm onwards. We arrived a little after 2pm and we’re told our room was not ready. We were able to check in by 2.40pm and we’re still changed the full early check in fee. In most hotels you would expect to be able to check in you your room by 3pm anyway but this hotel has to check in times back to 4pm or 5pm (depending on if you look at the website or talk to the staff) in order to offer this early check In feature which they cannot deliver on. We received no apology for their failure and were shocked that despite their failure, they still charged the full extra rate. The plumbing in our bathroom clearly has some sort of airlock or something as every time we flushed the toilet there was the loudest banging from the pipes (water hammer) that I have ever heard.

Booked as dog friendly, buttold on arrival, we could not take our very small dog into the bar or restaurant or seating areas. We were told we could take our breakfast out to the terrace to eat without dog when we checked in, but when we did that, the staff were a bit rude and said we were not allowed

Great location with perfect view of the walled city.

Check in was poor - our flight arrival time meant we arrived early at the hotel. We were made to feel bad that we had not paid extra for an early check in. We were eventually given our room early without paying extra but it was not a great way to greet guests. There was a smell from the drains in our room (212) when the shower was used. We raised this with room service but it was not fixed. We had already moved room once (as our previous room got the afternoon sun so was too hot) so we simply put up with the smell for our stay.

Location was excellent. Breakfast good but sometimes not everything was available. Breakfast room could get a little warm. Staff were superb, welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional.

As above, breakfasts sometimes needed ‘topping up’ and breakfast room often a bit warm for me.
