The accommodation was very good and clean. The parking was excellent.

Great well furnished room with access to tea and coffee making facilities and also a fridge. Our room had a balcony with a view of the medieval city walls, the entrance to which is approximately 150 metres away.

It was our first time we go to a hotel where no reception but if you follow the instructions it's pretty straight forward to get the keys from the numeric pad

Great location! 5 minute walk to entrance of the walled city. Spacious room with every we needed including espresso machine in common area. Nice lawn area with chairs for viewing the fortress. Breakfast was a 3 minute walk and was very good with croissants, cheese, meats, bread, yogurt and coffee. Parking was convenient and secure.

This is certainly a weird and unique hotel with no reception. We didn't find this a problem, providing you follow the email instructions you should receive. Parking was included and secure. We had booked Room 1 which (AFAIK) is the only one with a verandah and view of the city walls which was a real experience, especially during the vivid thunderstorms we had!

You need to check that the hotel opposite is actually open for breakfast (extra cost). It wasn't in early June when we were there. Also, if you like milk with your supplied Nespresso coffee pods or tea, then take your own. There is a communal fridge to store it in.

On this trip we are staying at boutique hotels. The good knight was small, fun, clean and convenient within the shadows of carcassone castle. A 3 minute walk to the entrance. As a self serve hotel the instructions were vary clear and simple sent well ahead.

In the castle in a small restaurant the food was the worst food and condition we had in Europe, no extra charge for all the flys. This has no barring on the good knight hotel.

Fantastic location, beautiful quaint family run hotel, rooms are well maintained and spotlessly clean. Stones throw away from the castle and 15 mins walk away from Carcassonne centre. Would highly recommend.

Everything! The location is amazing and it's very easy to get to. A 15 minute walk from the train station and right by the entrance to the medieval city - which means you have a stunning view. The room was bright, beautiful decorated and nice and clean. And the staff were very nice and helpful - despite our embarrassing attempts to speak French! Highly recommended!

The hotel location had a wonderful view of the old walled Carcassone. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Outstanding location just outside the Carcassonne walls. Small, quiet, clean and modern room with lots of hot water and good water pressure. Seating in the outdoor garden provided a spectacular view of the walled city.

Our room was nicely decorated filling the theme of Carcassone , it is exactly as the images shown for the provider , the view is amazing .

The view of the Castle is breathing! The small chairs on the patio are a nice addition from where you can enjoy a bottle of wine while admiring the castle. The bed is comfortable, but otherwise the room is small.

The sink and the shower are in the room, the toilet is the only one separated by a door. It is an acquired taste, for us it was ok, but not always ideal. The breakfast is in another place, just across the road, not included in the price, hence you can chose better options in the city for the same price, if you have time to spare. Overall not bad, but unfortunately for us, it was the last place we stayed on our travels and it does not compare with other amazing places we stayed.

Fantastic property with a view of the medieval city, and only minutes away from the entrance. We chose a room with a view but there were chairs outside and wine glasses in the room so we bought a bottle of wine and sat outside and watched the sunset over the city in the evening after an afternoon exploring the city - beautiful ! There was a wonderful little shared area with a coffee machine, fridge and even corkscrew (we weren’t sure so bought our own as a keepsake along with the wine!) The bedroom was beautifully decorated in keeping with the Knight theme, clean, the bed was very comfy, there was plenty of pillows and the shower was in the bedroom(!) which was quirky but it was a great shower with a huge shower head!

The only thing I can think of was there wasn’t any soap at the hand basin, instead a small bottle of body wash, which sufficed, but seemed a little odd. The other thing that might have improved it was an easier way to order the breakfast. We were told we had to order the day before we arrived via telephone for room service or we could walk over on the day (with no booking) to eat there (it was a separate restaurant). In the end we decided to skip it and have an early lunch in town instead but we did enjoy a lovely coffee from the machine. These two tiny things are the only improvements I can think of!
