We liked the vibe and the amenities at Footprints - we had a great stay.

Quick and efficient transfer. I enjoyed how quite it was. The location of the property in relation to the beach. Their salt water pool. How warm the staff and their dogs are.

The shower clogs up.

Very nice location and house is short walking distance to the beach. Nice clean pool. Very gracious and helpful owners with on time communication & good recommendations. Our room was large with comfortable bed & sitting area. Good bkfst and wifi around the house. Friendly & helpful staff. House is walking distance to shopping & restaurants.

Bkfst variety was limited. It would’ve been nice to have options for Swahili or other type of bkfst choices as well.

It's such a pretty place to relax and enjoy the beach. The owner was super helpful and friendly. She helped us with everything we needed.

The location was very good - close to the beach and to the main road. stuff was very helpful and nice. clean water provided.

The shower needed improvement - the ceiling was broken and mouldy, and the flow was poor. We also never had hot water (it says that there is hot water only a few hours a day - which makes it difficult especially since it is a beach town, but even when we showered during those hours we had no hot water). The breakfast was ok (it could be better). The room and the house were not very clean. We expected more for the price.

Unbelievably friendly hosts, staff and amazing house. We felt really at home. They showed us around but we were very free in what we wanted to do. Perfect combination between b&b, hotel and homestay. Highlight of our Kenya trip!

such a great house everyone so friendly but let you keep to yourself. easy walk to beach and restaurants nearby. very cute dogs to play with and lovely swimming pool. staff were all excellent and made some delicious breakfast for us

- Pool out of order (since months apparently) -> this should not be adverted as having a pool - Garden is not well maintained and looked bewildered - The house (rooms) needs a refresh and give a warn out impression. - At night (if you go out) there is no light at all which make finding the entry very difficult - Access road in poor state (that is not uncommon in Kenya).

perfect location : close to a lovely spot of the beach but in a very quiet surrounding. very helpful and friendly staff and the owners make you feel home. the bedroom was very spacious

Direct beach access, very nice and helpful owners. Good restaurant recommendations, excursions and cab service are organized. Very tasteful interior design.

Pool is getting on in years and could do with an overhaul. The cushions of the deck chairs should be renewed. Only english breakfast, could be expanded with cereals, bacon and rolls. Mattress of the bed was very soft

The house is located very close to the beach, just 5 min walking, it has a lovely garden as a swimming pool. Owners are very friendly and the whole atmosphere is family-like, it's like home away from home. We really enjoyed our one night stay here, but would definitely stay for longer.

The room is not really sound-proof, so if someone is staying late in the living room, you can hear noises. Also in our room bad did not have the mosquito net.

We loved every moment of our stay at Footprints. Location was amazing with lots of great restaurants nearby and a path straight down to the beach. Our room was so spacious, and the house was beautiful, with plenty of lovely spaces to relax. Nicest hosts you could hope for - they made us feel so welcome and they went out of their way to make sure we got the most out of our Diani stay, helping us to book local activities and restaurant reservations. We can't wait to visit again soon - definitely wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

Genuinely loved everything!

I loved the interior of the house, the African theme. It's proximity to the beach. The owners are warm and quite social Security to the place is guaranteed even when you come in at night. It has a home away from home vibe. Enjoyed playing the board games

OMG my staying was perfect Mr Fahd the owner was super cool. the villa it self amazing with high test of decoration the beach is a minute away. it’s super safe at night as there’s 24 security breakfast on the morning was delicious with variety of fresh fruits

sheets of the bed wasn’t the best as it’s made from polyester and it’s not suits the weather as it’s hot over there. I was dying to drink tea or coffee after midnight but there’s no boiler those things didn’t effect my staying but it would be a plus

The place is a beautiful villa, with pool, garden and walking distance from the beach. The outside area is nice and inside there is a big living room where you can chill. They propose to have dinner together with other guests, I did not try but I think it can be a nice idea.

Unfortunately the manager didn't specify that other guests were families with many (noisy) kids. The outside area, the pool and the common areas were unpracticables for me, as solo traveler, as the kids were too noisy to stand. I did not felt very welcomed. NO WI-FI in the room, as they told me that you are encouraged to stay in common area if you need wifi. Hot water is with solar panel, so if it's rainy or late at night, it is not available. I would not come back, nor recommend for solo travelers.

Our stay at Footprints House was amazing. We felt like home from the first moment. The house inside is cozy and beautiful and the room was very big. The garden is awesome and the walk to the beach is very short. The owners are unbelievable kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Excellent atmosphere. Great, central location, a calm easy stroll through a beautiful wooded area to the beach. Lovely owners. Perfect place to work and relax from for a few days. Had the dinner one night and it was delicious. Great value place!

Located at a nice, quiet place. Reesha and Fahad were amazing hosts, plus the staff are incredibly helpful. The home is beautiful, and for dog lovers like me - you'll enjoy playing with the dogs!

Nothing at all

This is a wonderful Villa with a fantastic staff. The beach is great and the rooms are comfortable. The pool is fantastic especially for those typical hot days. The breakfast included option is the best. Great breakfast each morning.

The only negative is lack of AC in the rooms.

Personal service at breakfast was very good. The rooms are spacious and attractively decorated. You are likely to meet fellow travellers from various countries and the laid back ambience makes for a relaxing stay.

Diani is very hot and humid in March when I stayed. So I really needed air conditioning. However, this would have bumped up the price considerably, and is not favoured by everyone.
