The location and view was fantastic,;the bed was very comfortable and I slept really well and largely, the room had everything I needed

I booked the room with breakfast included, but it wasn't - the pub is currently closed and no breakfast or substitute of any kind was offered. Also the shower tray had multiple short, dark, curly hairs all over it and one of the 3 windows was filthy, in spite of the easy access to clean inside and out by simply opening the window. Finally when I contacted the owner directly to report these issues, he was extremely abrupt and unhelpful - even disbelieving in regard to the cleanliness - and insisted that as the confirmation informed me that breakfast would not be included, or available, that my expectations were unreasonable. But it was non-refundable, and after the transaction was completed.

it was not as advertised. Adverts and photos were for wheelhouse, but we were put in cobblestone cottage - totally different place. no views, poor condition. Definitely would not have stayed there if the advertised photos had been of the property. emailed booking.com customer service on arrival, but did not hear back from them, but just from the landlord who said that's what we booked. Parking was mile away.

Room was very clean and fresh, great view to harbour.

The sliding wardrobe doors were caved inwards. On rising in morning there was no hot water coming from basin tap and then no hot water from the electric shower. So neither of us could shower! Then found the kettle was broken so couldn't even make a hot drink. Rang and spoke to manager who said he would ring me back....but it's been 3 days now.

I hadn't realised breakfast wasn't included. I find impersonal key safe entry slightly unnerving. You don't quite know if it's going to work. Really I'd rather speak to a real human being.

Location on the harbour ,lovely sitting room and kitchen diner. Well equipped and comfortable. Comfortable and roomy double bed.

Water heater over small bathroom basin- very good at washing the floor rather than hands. no plug in basin.

I will have to say that was the tiniest bathroom I’ve ever had! but with a historic property that’s what happens! And it works and was very clean and that’s all that matters .

Compact but in a quirky setting. Great place to wander when the day tourists have left.

And I quote " It has sea views and free WiFithroughout the property". I booked this property because of this statement. The Cottage, which is not a cottage, just rooms at the back of the building, does NOT have sea views. And wi-fi reception is only good in lounge. It's non existent in bedroom! Very dissapointed with this.

Beautifully presented room, modern bathroom and good shower. Lovely location, right on the harbour . Private parking available, which was a huge bonus when you see how busy the car park is

Location by the harbour,down an alley so reasonably quiet whilst being near to shops,bars,restaurants.Lovely character cottage.

Could do with more shelves in bathroom to put your toiletries,more coat hangers for clothes,there was only 1 in the wardrobe & 1 hook on bedroom door was broken.Bit more forthcoming info re parking & when road closures are planned also.

Location is wonderful views over the dock at Mevagissy.. Our hotel room was very comfortable and pretty, with two small- paned window seats overlooking the docks.

We had a hair raising drive down extremely narrow streets and across the dock weaving in and out of tourists and cars . We were then directed outside the village proper to reserved parking 5 minutes walk away The Wheelhouse is very old . It would be difficult for guests who cant navigate three sets of steep narrow stairs and two fire doors to get to their room.
