The room was perfect and well kept. Also the staff, particularly the gentleman at the front desk, were super friendly and helpful. They gave us good recommendations for tester units and even booked our bus to the station for a lot cheaper than we could find elsewhere. Breakfast was also pleasant.

The bathroom was a bit off in its layout, you showered right up beside the sink and toilet meaning both got soaked each time you washed - also the exposed electrics seemed a bit dodgy but this has been a common theam in Laos haha

Staff was friendly, but we do not recommend to book a transportation with them. We booked a train ticket, paid it and two days later when we checked out they told us very last minute that the train was full and they did not buy a ticket for us. We asked at another travel agency and they still could buy a ticket for us. In our opinion this is not acceptable! The hotel did not mention with any single word that they can not guarantee to buy the ticket for us and it was quite stressful for us to do a last minute booking with another agency.

The staff at this hotel are so kind and helpful. The young man who works at the front desk always has a smile and is willing to help with any queries. He helped us to book train tickets and a transfer to the station. The hotel is well located; it is about 5 minutes to the night market on foot and 10-15 minutes to the old town and riverfront. The room was big and clean enough. The included breakfast is good and filling. There is enough choice that it doesn't get repetitive. With some TLC, the hotel could be a 10/10 :) despite what I've outlined, we would stay again because of the wonderful staff.

The whole hotel is quite old and I think needs renovating. Many of our plug sockets were 'loose' and plugs didn't stay in them - those that did sometimes caused sparks, so we felt like we didn't want to leave anything plugged in overnight. We have found these socket issues to be fairly common in budget hotels in some SE Asian countries.

Location was good about a 10 min walk to the main town. Breakfast was also good and the manager was very nice and helpful as we booked our train tickets to Vang Vieng via them.

The bathroom was outdated and shower didn’t get very warm.

While the location was good for accessing many tourist destinations, if I were to visit the city again i would look for a room in a quieter neighborhood with less-crowded streets.

The room was a little run down, the floorboards beginning to warp and there was a fan that wouldn’t turn off. My shower wasn’t running any hot water.

Great location, good rooms but best thing about the place is the staff. Big thumbs up for Tom, his mom and the rest of the staff. Great people and very helpful in terms of organizing things to do etc.

Clean and comfortable. The location was really good. Nice outdoor area to chill. Easy motorbike rental.

Motorbike hire could have been slightly cheaper, cleaner didn’t change sheets, towels etc but insisted on coming in every day just to fold things.

It is a perfect spot for your stay in Luangprabang. I stayed there with my partner for two nights and we were given fresh water and coffee free of charge everyday. Also, while we were checking in we were given free welcome drinks. Breakfast is included and there are a lot of delicious options to choose from. I particularly loved the banana milkshake and the banana pancake. The owner was also really friendly and devoted to his job. Incredible service.

I'm honestly sad to give this place a very bad review. My fiancé and I stayed 3 nights here and absolutely loved it. The service was friendly, breakfast was delicious and facilities were very clean. We also booked train tickets to Vang Vieng through them which is a hassle since you can't pay cash or credit card as a westerner.

The treatment given upon/after checkout was extremely disappointing. On the day of departure, he tried to overcharge us. He had charged us 60.000 kip more for train tickets and an extra ~10 % for the stay compared to the actual exchange rate (coming to about 130.000 kip). Tried to explain it was because he had to change it to USD but wouldn't give us a better rate when we offered to pay credit card with 3 % surcharge. We explained that he had to be transparent if he did this, as we expect to pay the price provided on booking.com and to either inform about this fee in advance or increase the prices accordingly. After some arguing he did give us back 160k. After we left though, he marked us as no-show on booking.com so we couldn't leave a bad review (which we actually wouldn't have) and possibly to get a no-show-fee (full price)? Luckily we kept the receipt.

brilliant location. room as described with everything you need. amazing staff , the man at reception was honestly the highlight of the stay, so smiley and helpful, could help with anything and everything with no problem was very very reassuring, helped with Sum cards and motorbike renting and restaurant recommendations and train tickets, lovely person. the breakfast was really nice too with a good selection

We have absolutely loved our stay here - the staff is super friendly, the breakfast (included) is excellent, the rooms and beds are comfortable, the AC works great, and they include two bottles of water per day. We couldn't ask for anything more for the price.

For some it might be too far from the old town area, however, we have found some excellent restaurants nearby and the Night Market is only a 10 minute walk away.

the owners are so nice, the breakfast is very good with lots of choices the location is less than 10 minutes from the city center they help you for the activities to do in luang prabang the room was nice with good ac (and free water and coffee)
