Location and food. But food is over priced.

I booked a non smoking room. But I Was allotted a room 414 which may be smoking room or it was adjacent or may be a smoking room. During the entire stay I felt like a passive smoker. I complaint about that but no solution. They only spray the perfume but after a few minutes again it smells like a tons of cigarettes are being burned. So the stay was very uncomfortable.

The breakfast was excellent and the service was very good and prompt. The staff was very aware of how to handle customer requests with a smile.

The property needs upgrades in terms of the carpets, upholstery and furniture. The corridors have a dusty/rusty smell and hence needs replacement. I was surprised to see an ashtray and match box in the room whereas I had not requested for a smoking room. The storage space is limited for large suitcases and the toilet design was not very convenient.

For Hyatt Regency grade, the room was small. The layout was very bad as the luggage was to be kept inside the toilet, close to the open WC. So we upgraded with extra amount to a suite. It was good but the ac had some issues.

The food is not prepared hygienically. Hair was found in the food during dinner as well as breakfast next day.

I opted not to have breakfast.

The room wasn’t the cleanest.

The hotel cancelled our booking 24 hours before we were due for check in citing an inaccurate reason of invalid credit card when the card was valid. On calling the hotel we were told there is no capacity to rebook. Highly disappointed.
