the property is stunning and exceptionally clean. The staff are incredible and really go the extra mile, we only stayed 1 night but would’ve loved to have stayed more. The property is close to everything and an easy walk to the beach. I cannot recommend staying here more and thank you to the staff for helped us with our laundry and for being so caring as we were unwell during our stay.

I had a great stay at Epic. Staff are so kind and helpful! The room itself was sooo clean and cool, which helped me have the best sleep o had had during my whole sri Lankan trip! I had dinner at the restaurant one evening and it was very tasty...and good value. I loved the balcony space, which surprisingly was free from .mosquitos, even in the evening so I could sit out and relax. Also helpful to dry clothes out in the sun. Location is also good only 5 mins in a tuk tuk from the main shops and beach is just across the road so easily accessible. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place

The room was spacious and clean. We arrived early but got checked-in almost immediately. We even got offered a slightly better room so that we wouldn’t wait for ours to get ready. We appreciated this nice gesture

We were welcomed so warmly. The staff is amazing and we could even check in earlier. The rooms were really big. And the hotel is close to the beach and many restaurants.

The rooms are okay, but nothing special and some parts were broken in our room (two lamps and the curtain rod). It looks nicer on the pictures than in reality (as often). We were also unlucky that some other guests drank and were really loud outside until midnight. The staff didn't say anything apparently.

Around our sri lanka journey with my girlfriend we stayed here 01 night. Its was amazing in my life i been many hotels but this is only i like so so much.. they hospitality is perfect food is delicious so who is visiting this hotel we are highly Recommend Thank you

Very cute place. Very clean. Very comfortable. Best place I stayed for comfort. Not on the beach, but very close. They also have good prices on tours. Would absolutely stay again. And wish I booked my entire stay here.

We had a lovely, relaxed weekend at Epic unawatuna. The hotel is lovely, clean and simple and has everything you need. The manager, Mahesh, went above and beyond to make our stay super special. He's probably one of the kindest people we've ever met, please give this man a promotion!!!!! He gave us lots of advice about things we can do in the area and he made sure we had everything we need during our stay. The hotel is a very short walk from unawatuna beach. There's also a lovely garden to relax in (although there are lots of mosquitoes at night). We ordered a few meals from the restaurant as well. Make sure you give the restaurant your order a few hours early to allow time for them to prepare their food, it's all fresh. Their rice and curry was amazing! Make sure you ask for the eggplant moju (vambatu moju in Sinhala) with the rice and curry because it's great.

No pool. Also, having a sign by the road would be helpful as hotel is about 40 meters in a small road.

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They were always happy to help and went out of their way to assist us. Breakfast was great - smoothies were super tasty! Extremely comfortable rooms, hot showers and beautiful garden area.

The room is spacious. There is a desk to work on, a kettle, a fridge and a safe. The staff are just lovely. Everyone is very attentive. Trying to help, to fulfil all requests. I was provided with extra utensils and a fruit knife. Asha arranged a good transfer to the airport for a reasonable price. Access to the beach is quite close. However, it might not be the best place to swim there. I usually went to the middle of the beach. It took about ten minutes to walk down the beach to where I liked to swim.

I couldn't find a water tap at the entrance to the property to wash the sand off my feet. Or did I miss it? Was only there for two days:)

Good location next to the sea and close to the “center” where most of the bars and restaurants are located but also very quiet! Very nice set up regarding the rooms overlooking the garden. Clean and comfortable! All the staff was very professional and helpful! A big thanks to Mahesh
