Everything was amazing. The family is lovely, the food is great, the view spectacular.

The hospitality and food were excellent as well as the view!

The electricity would go out frequently along with the Wifi.

Maria and her family were incredibly hospitable and welcoming. They made us feel at home. They genuinely want to provide you the best stay. Maria is some cook.... each and every meal was made to order. It was the best food we had on our vacation. Tucked away on a hill side, in the jungle, on a farm, we felt part of the environment. You will be around Maria’s abundant pets which were so sweet. It is such a relaxing atmosphere! The Guachaca river is located 1 km away... it is where we chose to spend our time...absolutely incredible to wade in the current.

That we couldn’t stay longer. The units are not sealed, so make sure to bring bug repellant and/or appropriate clothing for the evening.

When we arrived for one night I immediately wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately we had to work on Monday. The location of hostal is breathtaking! It's on the hill but at the same time you can be at the beach in 5-10 minutes by mototaxi. Way more interesting stay than just at the beach. Maria's family is super hospitable and lovely! The food served by them is delicious! For sure you will meet guacamayas which live free and fly to the hostel every day. In general it was my best stay in Colombia so far! It was like family visit. 100% recommend! Gracias por todo!

This is the perfect place for a bit of peace and quiet, away from the bustling towns that dot this part of the coast. It's basic in the best way. The family who run it are lovely, and Maria's home-cooked food was the highlight of each day.
