Das Appartement liegt City-Nah und direkt neben einer Haltestelle für eine wichtige Buslinie. Ein Supermarkt und ein Bäcker sind ca. 300m entfernt. Es gibt 3 Badezimmer mit je 1xWC und ein zusätzliches WC. Der Esstisch ist ausreichend für 10…12Personen. Dafür gäbe es auch Geschirr (30 Personen). 3x Doppelzimmer mit ausreichend Schränken. Sehr schöne Aussicht, mit Balkonen zu mehreren Seiten und Etagen. Der Kühlschrank ist groß und ausreichend (nachdem man die Minnibar weggeräumt hat). Fahrstühle vorhanden, 1x Aussenparkplatz und 1x Tiefgaragenparkplatz vorhanden…inkl. Fernbedienung. Genug Handtücher vorhanden, könne gewechselt werden… genau wie Bettwäsche. Genug Steckdosen vorhanden. Es wird alle 2…3 Tage oberflächlich gereinigt. Die Hausdame ist immer über WA oder telefonisch zu erreichen.

Der Boden in der Küche war nicht besonders sauber. Es gab nichts an Grundmaterial in der Küche: kein Salz, kein Pfeffer, keine Gewürze, kein Essig oder Öl, kein Zucker…nichts. Das habe ich noch nie erlebt. Alle Getränke wären gegen Bezahlung vorhanden gewesen. Die Preise lagen aber über örtlichen Kneipen-Niveau. Eine Flasche Wasser gibt es gratis. Die Kaffemaschine ist eine Maschine für Alu-Kapseln! Man kann Kapseln im Apartment für ‚2€/ Stück‘ kaufen…aber im Supermarkt kosten Sie auch schon ab 30ct./ Stck. Der Herd (Gas) kam nicht recht auf Temperatur (Druck?), ein Anbraten in einer Pfanne war nicht möglich. Das Blech im Backofen war ölig und schmutzig. Die Messer sind nicht besonders scharf. Keine Eierbecher. Viele Beleuchtungen (auch Balkon) ohne Funktion. Es hat 1x stark geregnet, es lief über das Dach Wasser in das Wohnzimmer, aufs Klavier und aufs Paket. Wir legten Kochtöpfe und Handtücher aus und informierten die Hausdame. Es kam sofort jemand und beseitigte das Problem…Töpfe und Handtücher ließ man liegen. Eine Dusche verlor Wasser über den Badewannenrand, es lief bis aufs Paket. Hier musste man mit Handtüchern Sperren bauen. Nur 2 Sonnenliegen vorhanden. Die Teppiche/ Läufer sind schmutzig und müssten erneuert werden. Die Apartment-eigene Treppe ( 2 Stockwerke) ist einseitig ohne Geländer, für Kinder unter 4 Jahren nicht geeignet.

The facilities and views from the property are fabulous. The staff, particularly Nuno, were very helpful and knowledgeable - met us promptly at the apartment and gave a thorough orientation of the apartment and Madeira. Although there were some minor maintenance issues, this accommodation was excellent value for money and the staff were very responsive. We particularly enjoyed eating breakfast and having a nightcap on the balcony. It was very hard to leave!

The views are really stunning. The location was always 7 minutes from everything 😀 Friendly contact and reception. Go to Zona Velha.

Carpets and windows were dirty. I am not obsessed with cleanliness, but the windows are a key feature of the apartment. They are really dirty, and they ruin the views. Kitchen a bit tired. Check when big cruise ships dock at the port and plan your trip accordingly as they carry 6000 people and the town is small.

We got stuck in Madeira for an extra 4 days due to high winds and had to book this property quickly due to lack of availability. The property management could not have been more accommodating and we were checked in speedily and efficiently fairly late in the day. The location and views are just to die for! We rarely left the place as it was just so mind blowing! The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could wish for to cook with. The views from all the balconies were stunning and for a city centre location, it was fairly quiet. The apartment had a lovely cooling breeze running through it when the shutters were closed and windows open. I will probably never have the opportunity to stay at a place like this again but loved very minute and would not hesitate to recommend it to to others.

The kitchen was a bit tired and some of the cabinets could do with fixing or replacing. Also the AC was very old and not efficient but this is reflected in the price of the property.

Great location, easy to walk everywhere. Amenities were very good, including clean towels and robes, plenty of pots and pans for cooking, and even dishwasher and laundry tabs. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. Elizabeth was very welcoming and helpful the entire time we were there.

A couple of the dining chairs broke or began to fall apart as we sat on them (we are not big people!) so I think some of the furniture could do with a refresh. The air-con wasn't really powerful enough for the space, so we had to open a lot of windows which brought in a few mosquitos.

Great apartment, very spacious and home from home feel.

I would definitely stay at this property again however, there are some pieces of furniture that need updating and servicing to make sure they work smoothly - particularly for older people (e.g patio doors sticking so need oil)
