The Appartment is close to city center but doesn’t feel like it it’s in a quiet area far away from tourist places. it is so quiet you can hear the dogs in the neighborhood barking. The Appartment is shining clear, home-like, comfortable and lovely.

If you rent a car- driving there is quiet challenging since the alleys are very narrow.

Excellent apartment for families. Flat is spacious, nicely furnished and clean. Memorable view from balcony on the port area. Center is about 10 minutes from the flat on foot. Host is friendly, easy to reach out to and very reasonable. She also helped us with transfer to airport. We were very happy with our stay in Colina Mar.

A truly beautiful apartment with lovely fresh flowers and spotlessly clean rooms. All the little extras were provided by a warm and friendly host.

Getting in and out of garage was difficult. Need written instructions for washing machine and cooker. Host gladly provided these when asked.

Very comfortable, well equipped, light appartment in an excellent location. Balcony was the main place to be.

Too short stay!

this is a superb apartment in a great location close to the centre of Funchal. It’s so spacious, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need. Vanda the hostess is exceptional and will go above and beyond for you ❤️

Outstanding and attentive host.

The flat is nice and comfortable with an amazing view of Funchal and the ocean from it's balcony. We had a very nice stay facilitated by the kind and helpful hostess. We would love to have had an even longer holiday (we only stayed for a week) in this beutiful flat!

Not really a criticism, but the perfect view from the flat comes at a small "price": You have to walk downhill/uphill to/from the city center. Hence, people should be aware that a bit of nice exercise is included in the holiday :-)

Exceptional place that really made our stay in Funchal a very pleasant experience. Huge apartment in a quiet area, breathtaking views, spotlessly clean and equipped with literally everything you might need. Huge thanks to Vanda, the most hospitable and warm landlady I've ever met! She was so helpful and caring, treating us with the delicious fruit and vegetables from her farm and ready to give an advice whenever we needed it. Definitely going to stay here next time.

Amazing view from the balcony and rooms. Extremely comfortable and clean. Vanda is an extremely kind and thoughtful host. Both bathrooms were very nice. Beds really comfortable. Furniture and decorating are excellent. Five minute walk from beautiful downtown Funchal. If you need a taxi driver, request Mr. Rui from Vanda. Very kind man with fair prices that can take you anywhere on the Island. I definitely look forward to staying again at Colina Mar.

Very big apartment! Only 10minutes walk into the centre of Funchal. The host Vanda was very friendly. Very nice balcony!

The walls to the other apartments are quite thin, but it was no problem to sleep!
