This is a very old building, my single room was small. the carpark was 200m down the road which was at extra cost. the meals were good.

Be aware there isn't a lift so regular use of the stairs are involved.

Staff very friendly and efficient, room comfortable modern and clean. Food was lovely.

Nothing was bad. From an English point of view the pillows were not what we are used to though still comfortable and the breakfast is typically German, but that's what you expect

The room was extremely hot, but there is not much one can do about that with the outside temperature hovering at 102° F all afternoon.

The location, between the train station (with the steam trains) and the old town, is very good. There's a private, locked parking space a bit further down the side street. Breakfast buffet is generous, but may run out of some items before the end of breakfast time. Room facilities are good. It was really quiet during my stay, which I appreciated.

I had a single room and it was very small, with a similarly small window located high on the wall. I did feel a bit claustrophobic in there after the first couple of nights. The breakfast room gets crowded and noisy past 8:00 or 8:30, so if you enjoy having breakfast in peace you need to come down at opening time. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The hotel's reception desk is in a small room on the side street, so you need to walk around the corner from the restaurant and find either the door on the street, or walk into the courtyard and find the other door there. And then you will likely have to ring to get someone to come. It's not particularly obvious, especially at night and even more so if you don't read German -- in that case be prepared for a bit of a puzzle.
