We loved the lush tropical garden with only 4 houses. It felt very private and the pool was the perfect place to cool off. The hosts were incredibly helpful and attentive. Really great stay, would recommend it to anyone!

The beds were really comfortable, although the double bed is not very big.

- free private parking onsite - great swimming pool cleaned daily - lots of animals to see onsite on the garden or running around in the surrounding area - excellent staff and hosts with superb communication. They provide all the information you require before getting there and also during your stay - fully equipped kitchen - good insulation and protection from bugs and mosquitos.

- the road to get there could be improved but that's by no means the owner's fault

This is probably the best place we have stayed so far in Costa Rica. The kitchen is well stocked and we got given some bread and jam upon arrival which sorted us for breakfast. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Shower is hot and the Wi-Fi is good. Bed is comfy and towels are good, we even got beach towels which were helpful.

The property is a 5-10 minute drive from the main town along a bumpy dirt road. We were woken up a couple of times by coconuts falling from the tree onto our roof. We also had a couple of power cuts, one of which lasted over an hour. I would also suggest having a curtain on the kitchen window as this let light in and didn’t feel particularly private. Pool looks better in the photos.

Everything this place has to offer is just what everyone is looking for when going to Costa Rica.

Cabins were clean, comfortable, spacious,. Very nice surroundings, pool, wildlife, balcony and hammock to enjoy it all!!! Lots of things to do in the area, horse riding, Isla Tortuga, surf lessons, waterfalls, many beaches to visit in the area. Very helpful and friendly owners

The place is a paradise on earth! The owners, the condicions, the location, everything is just perfect!

Nothing.

The location was great - howler monkeys and scarlet macaws could be heard and seen from the property! The pool was nice, although the shared pool deck/area was small. There was A/C in the rooms and the beds were comfy! The host was very helpful, we really enjoyed the area.

The only thing we noticed was the black mold on the walls/ceilings should probably get dealt with.

Great bungalow in a fab location just a bit further on from Montezuma. Was nice to be a little further out from Montezuma which gets very busy but still easy to get to in a nice and peaceful location still so close to the sea. The lodge is right in the middle of Montezuma and Cabuya so easy to get to both places for restaurants and bars. Our hosts were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much of a problem. Would highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed the spaciousness, cleanliness and peaceful setting of the cabins The surrounding gardens and pool were beautifully maintained. The hosts, William and Bea were great. William offered advice on local tours which he can also book for guests. In addition, he offered recommendations on local restaurants and was able to answer any questions we had.

We can't think of anything negative to say. This isn't a negative comment but guests should be aware the roads can be a little rough. A 4 wheel drive vehicle would be a good choice. While we never engaged the 4wd, it was nice to know it was available.

This was our favourite stay during our time in Costa Rica, lovely friendly hosts, a beautiful location, minutes from a stunning beach, surrounded by nature. The chalets are clean and comfortable and well equipped, the coffee, bread, fruit and jam were the cherry on top. Thank you

Maybe somewhere to dry towels etc

There is nothing I did not like. Everything exceeded our expectations. The cabin was perfect with all the comforts to make our stay wonderful. The location of the beach would be hard to beat. The grounds are beautiful with nature all around on a quiet road. A short walk from the cabins is a beautiful beach with easy access. On any given day you will always find your own piece of beach where you will feel like you are the only people around. The surf spot just down the road was amazing. We surfed every day with very few people around, and some surfs we had were just my son and me. Depending on the tides, there are perfect waves for longboarding and shortboarding with other options close by. A short drive away are great restaurants and shops, including a great grocery store in Montezuma. Going north, a visit to Cabuya Island cemetery is a great outing at low tide. You can't go wrong with this place, and the hosts are amazing and extremely hospitable.

The new owner family is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and you have everything you need. We even got food for breakfast in the fridge when we arrived. And the next day, William brought us fresh mango from the garden. The garden is amazing and very big. We could watch different kind of monkeys while enjoying the pool. The beach is just a 3min walk away.

The bed could be a little bigger but it was ok. You need a car to go to eat something in town.

Very quiet and peaceful place. Lovely (French) owners who remained available at all time. The pool is always nice after a long day under the soon.

Great location to visit many beaches and parks in the region. Excellent price for the cabins considering how close to beach they are.

Everything was good.

Everything was amazing. The hospitality of Laura & Luc, the fully equipped, cosy but modern cottages in the wonderful garden, the swimming pool area which was so clean. If you stay at L&L, you will probably see more wild animals passing through during the day than in the National Park :-): Howling monkeys, agoutis, big iguanas, hummingbirds, etc. The beach in 3 minute walking distance is excellent for enjoying the sunrise and the sea. The close-by National Park is also worth a visit if you like hiking. Make sure to stay at least 4 nights because it is worth it and you will be sad to leave anyway!

The location is really nice, the house is also perfect, clean, fully equipped. the place is quite and peaceful. And we loved the swimming pool. Very clean and beautiful and well taken care off. Laura and Luc are really nice, the owners, and alway there is you need anything. We traveled with two children, 3 and 4 years, and this is definitely the best place to stay for a family in Montezuma. My husband comes from Montezuma so we know the place very well and can really recommend to stay at L&L.

Everything! Lovely spacious cabins, with a wide porch. Nice pool, lots of wildlife ( the good kind). Minutes to a lovely beach, town is 5 minutes by car. Lovely owners help with everything..
