Nice vibe, cool and quirky rooms, decent pool and lots of comfy hammocks to chill in.

This is a basic hostel, showers are cold and from a pipe but if you can deal with that you'll love your stay

Darius is absolutly lovely. Hé is at the reception, when ever you need him and has the best recommendations. Always happy and ready to help you. The vibe is awesome over all at the hostel. Awesome accommodation!

The hostel has an amazing vibe. We’ve met lots of great people with which we travelled further. The pool is a nice extra.

DON’T BOOK THE TOUR AT THIS HOSTEL. I cannot give this hostel the rating I would like to give it, as we had the most terrible experience with the tour the hostel provides. We did the Mount Bromo and Ijen Crater tour with half of the hostel guests. The driver of the busses drove in the most dangerous way, even for Indonesian terms, and we finally had enough when smoke started forming in the busses. We did not get enough time to sleep since the travelling took twice as long. The tour guides also tried to scam us several times.

Hostel is in a perfect location, very friendly staff, hammocks everywhere to hang out, a clean pool to cool off in.

Paid extra for a double room with private ensuite and it’s the only room next to the road. VERY noisy at night and super busy with motorbikes

I had the best time in yezyezyez and met the most amazing people, I can really recommend it! The atmosphere in this hostel is so good, the staff is amazing and makes the place feel like a second home. It is really nice to chill, relax and explore Yogya from here. I ended up extending twice as did many others!

Do not expect luxury; there’s no curtains in the rooms or hot shower nor is there AC (there are a lot of fans though). I honestly didn’t really miss any of these things but if you prefer more comfort this might not be the hostel for you.

If you are looking for a different and relaxed “hippie style” place, this hostel is for you. We really enjoy staying there, staff is super nice and always ready to help. Same foes for owner. They really gave us great tips and we booked all trips there. Guides for temples were awesome and the one for a half day bicycle tour was also TOP - highly recommend this tour since you can see country side and meet some locals. Ok back to the hostel. The place is basic but it has everything you need. There is even refilling station for water and a swimming pool. Our room was next to the street and the noise from the street it didn’t disturb us during the night at all. It is close to the cool places - bars and restaurants. And the best is that they stay very cool people so you can meet them and enjoy their stories.

Very noisy at night

The staff is very nice and helpful. You can have as much free tea and filtered water as you want. The place is so chilled and looks beautyful. For me this hostel has everything and more I expect from a hostel. All in all a place where you probably will stay more nights as planed;)

Great atmosphere, cool bungalow style stay. Really great staff, nice place to just hang out. Basically lived here for over a week, nice place to do work (not internet wise but great cafes in the area) and was some space to do some yoga which was noiceee

I slept great in the double room but when my bud left I switched to the dorms. They’re ok with earplugs and facemask but still the alley is just next to it and is too loud. Needed my beauty sleep so had to move to a quieter hostel :(

i loved the vibe of the hostel and location was great, just a few mins walk from a street of bars and restaurants. staff are great too!
