Location, value for money

Treatment of his mother wasn't pleasant, senior people should be respected. No shower. No times of loading shedding. No seperate exit needs a sliding door where window is.

Everything about the space was beautiful. My biggest highlight were the mirrors everywhere. The location is very convenient, there are shops, restaurants and a park within walking distance. The room it self was very clean and cosy, the bathroom was very lovely and the closet space is enormous. The hosts were very helpful, gave us the wifi pin without any hassle and also helped us in figuring things out.

I didn't like that to get access to the kitchen utilities like plates or the sink we had to get out of our space and use the hosts' kitchen, it felt a bit like we were intruding but I am glad they reassured us that there was no harm in doing so. The fridge, we found it so dirty that we didn't even use it. There was no mop or floor cloth which we found a bit challenging because we had to ask that from the house too in cases of spillage. This is not so related to the physical space it self, but the pictures gave a very different impression of the space, I only went ahead to book because of the enormous number of great reviews. I almost didn't book because I needed something very cosy and comfortable, and the space on the photos just looked so huge and a little old fashioned, but to my surprise it was just the angle of the pictures used because the space itself is very convenient. I would advice the hosts to upload better pictures which do not over exaggerate the features in a bad way.

I like everything about Charlie's place. It's in a perfect location where you get almost everything around the place its secure. Mostly i liked the host like Charlie & his wife they are over welcoming Their guest the comfortability i get from them i don’t think i ever get comfortability like this in any other guest houses around Johannesburg.

I don’t think there's anything that I don’t like from the place.

We did our own "self-catering", so did not use your breakfast offer. The location of the Guest House suited our needs very well - able to easily visit friends.

The place was close to shops n restaurants.

Dirty toilet n dead cockroaches on the floor and by the microwave. Too noisy. Check in was a pain.

Everything (welcoming ,set up of the room and the service ).

The yard is well secured, the environment is very quite and gives one a peace of mind and the bathroom is very spacious, the towels and sheets were clean. The place is very close to the restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the furniture was of a very high standard as well. There is a very bright torch provided in case of Loadshedding. I will definitely go back there again.

The yard is too small for parking. The owner uses the lounge which is next to our rooms and that doesn't give us much privacy as one would have loved to have. There's no dstv, there was no remote control for the aircon and one was not sure if it is working or not.

Convenient location, spacious and clean facilities.

Nothing to mention really, venue served its purpose over and above expectations.
