This house worked perfectly for a group of 6 friends converging in Charlotte from across the country. Location couldn’t be beat with easy walking to all the restaurants, bars, and cafes in Plaza Midwood.

Six adult men in town for a downtown conference. Lots of individual space/privacy yet nice group space as well. Easy to walk to great food too!

The location and size of the house is fantastic. A very short walk to Plaza Midwood and a ton of bars, restaurants and cafes. We had some issues after we checked in, but Patrick was able to help me work the most important ones out.

The house was perfect. Plenty of space for 10 people. We had a great time!

The house was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. We had plenty of room to enjoy family meals, and we loved the front porch. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was very well stocked (e.g., soap, shampoo, kitchen supplies, etc.) It was perfect!

The property worked extremely well during the wedding activities. Three couples stayed at the house. There was plenty of room for everyone. All activities were extremely accessible from the house location.

Plenty of space, adequate supplies, great kitchen, dining and living room...easy walk to restaurants/shops...great neighborhood. Even though backed up to the highway, the house was very quiet.

In this house there are two bathrooms upstairs and one downstairs. When I entered the downstairs bathroom, I noticed right away that there were ants everywhere, coming in from under the toilet. I took some bug spray from the cleaning closet and spent about 20 minutes spraying them and cleaning them up. However, ants kept coming in from under the toilet. I notified the home owner that the bathroom had a serious ant problem. He responded by asking if I would set off a fogger in the bathroom, plus another fogger outside near the crawl space under the house. I told him I could not set off the foggers because my family and I were just leaving the house to keep a reservation we had made. The owner said he would set off the foggers later in the day. When we returned to the house around 5:00pm that evening, I looked in the bathroom and saw the fogger on the toilet and numerous dead ants all over the bathroom, plus at least one dead cockroach. However, there were still many live ants in the bathroom and they were continuing to come in from under the toilet. I sent a message to the owner telling him that I was frustrated by the fact that I had taken this house because it had three bathrooms, but one bathroom was clearly going to be off limits for us. He asked me why the bathroom was off limits. I told him it was full of dead ants and cockroaches, covered in bug poison and ants were still coming in. At the owner’s request, I sent him pictures of the bathroom. He told me that I should vacuum up the ants if I wanted to use that bathroom. I responded that, as I had paid a hefty cleaning fee, I did not think it was appropriate to ask me to clean the bugs out of the bathroom, not to mention the fact that ants were still coming into the bathroom, and there was bug poison everywhere. The bathroom was neither safe nor sanitary, and no one would want their family using it. The owner said the issue was out of his control and if I was not happy with it, I could leave the house at any time. He did not offer any accommodation or make any further attempt to remedy the problem. We did stay in the house for the remainder of our booking, but we could not use that bathroom. During our stay we saw other cockroaches in the house, and I took pictures of them. I was astounded that the owner would rent his house out on VRBO as he must have known about the bug problem, and I was surprised that he would be so rude and belligerent when asked to remedy the problem.

The house and neighborhood were great. Coffee, food, brewery easily walkable.

Excellent well equipped house in a nice neighborhood. We were able to walk to many restaurants and bars. The house was well stocked and clean. Host was extremely responsive. Will stay here again when in Charlotte!

House was beautiful and clean and roomy; Hosts were very easy to communicate with and this area of Charlotte had a lot to offer within very close distance.

My family and I stayed here to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday. The house was very clean and spacious, and the location was great! We also loved the very large kitchen and living room as we were able to all be in it together. We were able to get to the airport in 20 minutes, the mall in 15, and both of the restaurants we were eating at were within walking distance (The Fig Tree and SupperLand). Patrick was extremely helpful with all of my questions and his responses were within minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was great - lots of character, clean, and roomy. The back patio was screened in with comfy furniture. The neighborhood was fun and within walking distance of a lot of restaurants. We absolutely loved the bakery up the street. It wasn't clear from the listing, but there is one bedroom with twin beds on the main floor and a separate bath with tub. On the second floor is the master with queen bed and en-suite bathroom (shower only), 2 queen bedrooms, a full bath (with tub), a sitting area, and the laundry room. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. Easy check in and out, great communication. Overall a great experience.

Large, spacious home. Updated with nice features, such as gas fireplace with flip on switch, and large master bathroom. Convenient and surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to Independence Blvd. We hope to rent again in the future.

This house was perfect for our party of eight. We were traveling in from different areas of the country for a short weekend in Charlotte. We loved the location of this house close to the bars and restaurants. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed. Communication with Patrick was great!

What an amazing place in a thriving, safe and beautiful area. We met so many new friends, while I was there for business, I will be back with my wife and a few friends. We will stay in this home when we return.

Everything was gorgeous in this house. Hardwood floors, plenty of space, screened in porch out back! Definitely a great place to spend a few days - conveniently located near shops and uptown Charlotte. We had a work conference at the Westin so it was nice to hop in the car and be there within 10 mins. Neighborhood felt safe, quiet for most of the time. There is a road behind the house, we could hear the trucks at night and a train now and then, but it was fine. Huge kitchen with granite countertops, breakfast bar, really spacious. Stone fireplace adds a nice touch. TVs in all of the rooms.
