The entire place smelled like smoke. No idea how none of the reviews mentioned this. Absolutely awful.

Very nice stay for a weekend. Location is 40 minutes walking from city center of Karlovy Vary. but if you travel by car it’s not a problem. Enough space for a big family. All what we need we found in apartment.

not really strong wifi

We wasn’t able to check-in to apartments, sure it was partially our fault, but it’s really a quest to check-in, f.i. they will spam you with tons of messages with around 1k letters in each, you have to get all necessary info from them (it’s not easy, significant information is spread among all messages), then there will such instructions like “keys will be in some place”, “finish check-in and we will send you further instructions” (it felt like we were in some kind of detective), also some messages were contradictory, like “keys will be there or there”, also always said that can send our info to host to finish check-in and it can save some time on our arrival so we decided we can fill everything at the apartments, but no, without that they won’t even explain how to get into apartments. We tried to call at 21 but all we got from the call was repeat these incomprehensible messages in more incomprehensible way. The host doesn’t speak in eng, only germ or czech. So we were late for up to 5 mins and faced with closed doors without ability to get into. To sum things up, incredibly difficult check-in process with tons of incomprehensible spam messages from the host. If you want some quests on check-in you have to choose this option.

Heating and Location.

Apartment looks comfortable and clean.

So cold. We tried to increase temperature but it was not working. So we stayed comfortless. Also wi-fi was too weak.

Notning

First of all, the dirty apartment, which we saw as soon as we entered, was dust everywhere and crumbs from previous tenants. A sleeping worm in the fridge. In the evening it turned out that there is no hot water so an ice shower.In the morning, when 10 o'clock came and we were not yet ready to leave, the lady said that we could not stay, we were supposed to finish packing our backpacks.

The apartment is very spacious and the host is accommodating.

We liked everything about the apartment. There was a lot of thought put into preparing the apartment to serve it's purpose. Highly recommed 🙂

The fridge needed to be cleaned and the dishwasher used more often as it smelled of decay. I had to run the dishwasher on it's own to get rid of the bad smell.

Nothing really

To get to the apartment you have to go thru a very small narrow windy staircase which starts right at the door. This makes it very difficult to get to the actual apartment and extremely challenging with the bags or if you have a stroller. Toilet / bathroom were very small. Room size were ok but the slanted ceilings were making it difficult to walk. It is basically an attic. Dated and stuffy especially as it was summer
