The room have mosquito. The floor in the room also quite dusty. The television reception is not clear.

The smoke smell in the room was horrible. No windows, we knew, but still depressing. Only okeyish to sleep.

Nam Hy hotel has an exceptional excellent services and friendly also helpful team of staffs at reception. All staffs able to communicate fluently not only Vietnamese but also Chinese and English. We enjoyed staying here due to central location and friendly staffs made us feel like home.

Just for advice if hotel can improve water pressure and a out door coffee lounge. This would be great

I cannot fault the hotel itself. Bearing in mind it's a 2star hotel the service was amazing. There a staff on the door at all hours and they help you get in and out of taxis, take your bags etc and are very friendly. The only thing keeping me from giving them top marks was because the night staff didn't speak English at all so when I needed a taxi for example it was a bit of a challenge. But the lady during the day spoke perfect English. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are huge. Easily the biggest room I've had in Vietnam. The bed was very comfy and the shower was massive. Turn down was great. I like that you can check in and out at any time as they are 24hr and that there is a restaurant on site. I didn't try the breakfast but I had a coffee and that was great.

The main issue, and I suppose this mainly applies to female solo travellers like me, is the location. If the hotel was elsewhere I would have been very happy. I suppose that's my fault for not fully understanding the districts, but I felt that district 5 wasn't very safe. It took me a good 40 minutes to an hour to walk to district 1 (and I walk fast) and for the majority of that walk I had to avoid being grabbed, catcalled, curb crawled, stroked, touched, gawked at, crowded etc. I could barely walk a meter without unwanted attention. I felt like the only foreigner in the whole district (and was the only one I saw). Even in the hotel lobby other guests felt it was ok to just stare at me for long periods of time. Therefore, I wouldn't stay again, and I would maybe warn other female solo or families from staying in the area unless they want to take taxis only which isn't as convenient. There are also no real cafes or restaurants in walking distance, and I was given strange looks when I walked into local places.

No free fast. Location is good. Very convenient. Close to shops and restaurants.

The staff was really kind and helpful, the room is quiet and well clean. Everything was positive!

The Hotel was clean and the entire Team from Reception onwards, made you feel like a Guest. The hotel is in a great location, especially if you ae looking for some bargain shopping. Really can't fault this little gem.

Loved everything

Room 105 is smoking room . I can't stand the smell then move to 104 . All look super good and will continue to stay this hotel room 104 in the future .
