We had the honeymoon sweet (Room 22) at the top part of the hotel so not so many steps up and down. Our room was large, clean and very pleasant. Lovely large bed 5ft 6 or 6 foot. There was free coffee (Nespresso) and bottled water supplied in the room. Breakfast was great especially on the terrace in front of your room overlooking the caldera. The views were truly spectacular just like the pictures on line. Very relaxing, romantic and picturesque. The staff were super helpful, always happy and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing really, perhaps a view from the hot tub would have been nice but being a bit fussy here.

The location, beautiful view of the caldera from our patio where we enjoyed our breakfasts. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Absolutely pleasant!
- Wi-Fi did not work inside the room but was good in all other parts of the hotel (patio, pool area etc)
- Tap water is not drinkable on this island. Hotel will generously provide you with 1 liter of bottled water per day, free of charge. If you need more you are advised to buy it from the local supermarket.
- Breakfast is included in the hotel price. Breakfast is ordered digitally every day to your room or the pool bar. However, when checking out some of the things you’ve ordered were considered “extra” and put on the final bill with no previous information. This could have been more transparent.

On the Rocks hotel was incredible! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to anticipate our needs/wants. It was a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place. Everything was with ease, and it was a beautiful location; close to stores/shops etc. The restaurant served 10/10 food as well. The staff really made it the best part though; they were amazing!

The room was beautiful with a fabulous view and entirely private. Delivered breakfast was a special treat with the most fantastic staff always ready to assist. Easy to get to additional sites in Santorini via walking, car service, or Bus.
The bathroom mat could have been larger, the tile floor did get slippery but really does that matter when you are On The Rocks!

A beautiful little hotel on top of the world.. the views are just amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The weather let us down the 1st 2 days which is no fault of the hotel, however the hotels are not made for poor weather conditions. On a cold day/night if u want to have a cozy drink at the hotel bar .. it’s a bar its an open place (so it’s cold) the only alternative is the bedroom!

The location and views from the hotel were breathtaking. The bed was the most comfortable bed on our entire trip. The included breakfast was amazing! If we hadn’t had an issue with our AC, it probably would have been a lovely stay!
Some of the staff were very kind and some of them were not. The AC in our room didn’t work and they couldn’t fix it or give us a new room, so we had to use a fan and leave our window open all night to let the cool breeze in. The staff was rude when we expressed our concerns and frustrations about it. The manager who came to apologize in the morning was very friendly and tried to right the situation, but at the end of the day, we just felt like we were more of a nuisance to them than anything else.

This is the worst “hotel” I’ve ever been!
1. The room we payed for wasn’t available, so they said that we are “upgraded” and gave us a worst room, without a window and with a bad smell. After we declined to stay in that room they offered us another room that was a bit better but very humid! There was a dehumidifier in the room that showed 83% humidity (that high level of humidity is bad for health!) and we couldn’t sleep.
2. Also the lunch in the hotel was disgusting!
3. The cleaning lady was so insolent and rush in our room without asking and throw a bag full with garbage in our balcony!

Fabulous location and view away from the frantic activity around Fira which gets inundated with cruise ship visitors. Very clean room and the hotel premises. Staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful

Honestly we didn’t understand the ‘luxury’ part - what criteria are used for this? Just price?
The bathroom drains in our room ( we had 4 rooms) stank of sewage. We were told this is typical of Santorini but it wasn’t even typical of the 4 rooms we got.
Rooms were very damp. Two very badly so and one of those very musty.
The toilet seat in one was lopsided (our sons complained of flesh/hair being pinched)
The air con in one room smelt terrible when running.
General lack of attention to detail - one of the three bulbs in the living room wasn’t working, one in the bathroom wasn’t, coffee machine in one room was missing the water jug!

The view was excellent. Our balcony was perfect for the views of the sea, the caldera and sunset. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The room was nice and comfortable.
Only the bathroom basin needed a bit more of disinfectant to keep the smell at bay.

the view and the quality of the bed
I found the first night a coak roach in the bathroom and they change us for a room up to the kitchen with so much noise ! we have been relocated only because I ask it because the manager said us that it was ok to find a coak roach and it could happen sometime … ok in a 1 or 2* but absolutely not in a 4* !!!
moreover it was our honeymoon and we just receive a glass of hot white wine
no hot water in the shower
this is absolutely not anymore a 4* hotel but a 3* one because it has not been maintained.
there is so much better hotel in the island with a beautiful caldera view do not stay there

spectacular views, breakfast served on our rooftop terrace and excellent service - staff couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable without feeling like they were on top of us the whole time!

Great location! The view is absolutely gorgeous. We had the option to have breakfast in our room to enjoy the spectacular view. Friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

The view was absolutely breathtaking, from the balcony right outside our room and essentially from every place in the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the room was beautiful and clean
