location was good and loved the coffee machine in the bedroom

overpriced, restaurant really overpriced, someone walked in the bedroom when we was inside. not as good as expected

clean, inviting and well set out

one side of bed had big dip in it make it not as comfortable as it could have been. facilities in room were very sparse

staff were very helpful, food and restaurant was excellent and hotel and rooms were very clean.

bedrooms were quite dark and tinted mirror was hard to see in. no plugs besides bed for phone charging was inconvenient.

The parking arrangement wasn’t ideal.

Are bed was 2 separate beds pulled together with one bed being a little higher than the other which was a problem when u rolled over in the bed an has half the other mattress stuck in your back. Carpet had paper still on it and around the sink was dirty. Stayed here before and had no problems but didn’t enjoy this time around.

Lacked basic amenities like shower caps, bedroom slippers. Room not vacuumed Safe parking at £20 a night otherwise leave your car on the road.

Great service and rooms are spacious and clean

The corridors outside bedrooms are very gloomy. I also didn’t like being told that my room upgrade bid was £30 when the Hotel had accepted £15. We had to show proof to have this corrected.

Room good as usual, and restaurant and reception staff very good and helpful.

We have stayed at the Vincent many times before and were surprised to be informed (rather impolitely) that the 1st floor bar was reserved for a private party and were told to go to the ground floor bar, which was by this time closed. We're used to being able to have a drink until 1am with family and friends, but were advised that wasn't the case and the bar always closed at midnight and we could only have room service drinks. This is the first time this has happened to us and the manager at reception kept telling us he'd worked there 13 years. I fail to see what this had to do with my query. He also said that the bar had closed at 12 for two years - also I believe not the case. I realise that they may have opened the ground floor bar since our last visit, but my wife and I were rather put off by the unhelpful attitude of the staff involved.

Good location, a premium hotel in Southport for many years. Nice room, and a quiet stay!

a check out time of 12, not 11 would have been great, but this is a minor point.

bed isn’t great it says double bed in description but there is a gap in middle so just 2 single beds pushed together on2 different levels so not great. also pillows are not comfy at all.
