We stayed in an amazing suite made up of two rooms with a shared foyer. The small balconies opened to beautiful view of Lake Geneva and the French Alps. The room for two was really spacious with a big washroom. The other room for one was also comfortable. The suite was decorated with beautiful furniture and comfortable coaches. We enjoyed the room and view so much that we did not feel time wasted resting in the room every afternoon after sight visits. Room facilities including water kettle, ironing board, automatic balcony shades were all very nice. We also had fun exploring other art pieces in the rest of the hotel. The hotel is located within a short walk to the closest city train station as well as supermarket. Also many restaurants around and shops. Staff at the reception was friendly and helpful

There is much to be improved regarding breakfast. Food quality was okay. But during busy times supplies of food and cups ran out. Only 1 out of 3 times were we able to get real hard boiled eggs (which had to be separately ordered). So in the last morning, we just gave up. There could be more choices in terms of food too.

Beautiful, comfortable , clean. Great location, breakfast included and it was very good, lots of choices. The terrace restaurant was fabulous, the food delicious. Alan was great . I went up almost last minute and he was able to rearrange and get me a fabulous table for dinner for 4. He went out of his way to accommodate my party. Our suite was beautiful and I loved the view and the location so close to everything. Beds were comfortable. Had a kettle which I loved and tea and coffee was provided.

I really don't understand European hotels with chintzy pillows. I would have liked a firm pillow but that is about all I can complain about.

The staff was helpful and friendly. We had already booked out and the kids wanted to go for a swim in the lake. The hotel let us use their towels and we could leave our cars in the parking for the day without additional fee.

Nothing in relation to the hotel. Just that Switzerland in general has become so expensive

Great staff

It's a real classy hotel, a bit old fashioned well decorated hotel. The room had a good size. Ours also had a balcony overlookung the lake and Mont Blanc. The location is good for Laussane centre (Though, for tourusts, perhaps Laussane centre is not an obvious choice). Getting to the hotel from the train station was harder than expected. It's really close, but takes some climbing. Taking a longer root can make the climbe much easier - so use your navigator's advice with caution.

Well positioned hotel with lake view. The hotel is nice and clean,room was very big, bathroom very big as well and well equipped.

The staff overall is average. Most don’t speak English or if they do you barely understand what they say. They seem generally very arrogant. The worse was the restaurant. Don’t book breakfast, is just not worth. The place looks very fancy so you go with high expectations, however it is highly unorganized. When we went down in a group of 8 the max they could prepare was a table of 6. Food is very basic, less than a 3 stars hotel would offer: 2 bread, croissants, butter and jam, 3 types cold cuts, almost finished, a little very little bit cheese, cold omelette and sausages. no plates, no spoons, no coffee spoons, no extra napkins, no glasses for water/ juice but 10 people working there and just walking chaotically around and making scandal between themselves. Obviously the problem is the restaurant manager since we met him a night before when he completely panicked over a group of 8 at 9 PM and insisted for a long while he had no place to serve us although half tables were empty and even his stuff offered to prepare a table as soon as ready. We also said we take two separate tables, that was also not possible in his opinion. Not to mention his face expression just basically telling us to go away. He offered us room service as we had 3 kids with us who needed dinner . So after 40 minutes we received in the room 3 burned pizzas and a tasteless sandwich all for 110 fr. It’s an absolute pity how well this hotel looks like and how this restaurant is. For the price or the room our expectations are extremely high too and this place just does not raise up to.

In last 15 years of my stay at hotels around the world, thie hotel's service looked underpar in comparison to other 4 stars or hotels of same std. Normally hotels provide complimentary wine or cake if we declare a special occasion. Hotels of this std in India don't even ask for payment upfront. Though we had already paid full bill, the reception asked for 100 CHF security and to arrange cake or wine they wanted extra 33 CHF. I had yo myself run around to different shops in the neighbourhood to find a bakery and get wine. I expected more from a hotel of this std. I advise the staff anf senior management to stay once in any 4 star or 5 star Hotel in India or US or elsewhere and see how forthcoming, good the service is. Plus a factor of trust is solid in hotels around. The room was quite small too, at that cost I would advise other tourists to looks for a better hotel with value for money and better service. There is no kids room for a child to play either.

Everything went like clockwork in this hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was nice. The location of the hotel was excellent. We had a very good meal in their restaurant.

I think we have nothing that could have been better. Certainly if you think about value for money.

Excellent location next to the historical centre with many shops, cafes, restaurants nearby,, very clean and quiet with astonishing views to lake from your room.

The price could be better but that's Switzerland.

The classical feel of the property and the location. it felt luxurious. The gym was well equipped and it was nice to visit every morning. i managed to score a balcony and enjoyed the view over the lake.

The room was somewhat cramped even for just one traveller. There were only nom-earthed EU sockets (bar one that worked with modern adapters) so using my computer was a no no. Breakfast was a tad too expensive in an already expensive city.
