Great and helpful staff who booked a canyon tour and a taxi for us on our departure day. Balconies with each room. Great little onsite restaurant - breakfast here was very tasty and there was a lot of choice!

I really wanted to like this hotel more and had higher expectations based on the pictures online and some of the other reviews. Unfortunately, the hotel is starting to show quite a bit of wear and tear, and it felt like not a lot of love has gone in since it was built and started it’s operation. Issues we encountered with our room: - No toilet seat - had to sit directly on the cold porcelain :( - Balcony light not working, so sitting in the dark after sunset - Only one bright light in the room - no reading light - In-room safe not working and couldn’t be used at all - No hooks anywhere to hang your towel etc - Poor and unreliable WiFi connection - Could not pay by card despite the card machine being there - was told it wasn’t working, despite the light being on.. With a little room TLC and maintenance you’d create a much better experience for your customers!

The 24 hour reception, balcony, tile bathroom, and AC were great to have!

Some ants got in through the balcony, so be sure you close the balcony door when not in use!

Great location near city center, great wifi, nice neighbourhood, rooms were spacious and very clean , great breakfast ! Secure and spacious parking .

the bed was super hard plus we didn’t realize an orange cat was in our room until we returned from dinner. the cat urinated all over half our clothes and left them smelling like cat spray. I hope when we make it home I can get the smell out. staff didn’t seem to understand this was a big deal and in my opinion they should have arranged for them to be washed prior to our departure. the cat must have belong to the hotel.

The property was in a convenient place, and had very friendly staff. the restaurant had good food at great value, and the property looked nice overall.

There were quite a couple things that made my couple and I rate this property low. 1.) bathroom tile appeared dirty, as later on we could tell that there was gloss on some floor tile, and some didn’t have an; thus, making it look dirty, and as if someone had peed near the commode. 2.) the shower head had an odd water direction where the water did not fall directly on to you, but a lot would hit the walls or shower glass. 3.) The bed was terrible. The mattress was hard, and the pillows were thin and soft, so you felt like you didn’t have a pillow, and when you’d sleep on your side, your head would extend and hurt your neck. I woke up and kept a back and neck pain for the two days I slept there. 4.) There was a small orange cat that the second night started scratching off at our door for a good 15 minutes, needless to say it was the property cat, it was a bit annoying. 5.) There was only one mirror, which was a small one in the restroom. my couple and I had to take turns using it, as normally in hotels they have at least two. 6). The room had a total of 2 outlets available for normal usage, at the end we ended up disconnecting the TV for an extra outlet.

Two of our flights were delayed due to inclement weather and within five minutes of getting into the room at midnight - admittedly a late hour - the guest on the room downstairs came knocking complaining about noise, which was apparently due to "paper-thin" walls. We finished unpacking and showering in whispers and slept, in a very comfortable bed, until almost noon with no similar issues.

Centrally located in Tuxtla. Fantastic staff (especially Christian), comfortable bed, yummy food, and AC. Highly recommend staying in Tuxtla if you want to visit San Cristobol, Sima de las Cotorras, the waterfall, and Sumidero canyon as it’s easy to access all from here although, Tuxtla doesn’t have much going on beyond being a central spot.

Could use a lamp in the room, but other than that it was great!

The space between bed/wall was so tiny I could barely use my legs to walk by the bed, to get to the balcony. I'd do a military-style bed-roll to get over it. No fridge in room.
