Was not aware breakfast finished at 9 so when we went down at 850 there was no one to tell us where to sit and how breakfast ordering went. Eventually someone came to us but breakfast was very limited.

we were put in a room directly above performance lounge!! had a long journey and wanted a quiet night watching TV. could barely hear it as mouse below was so loud!! eventually after an hour we asked to move rooms.

Room was lovely and spacious (twin room with sea view), beds very comfortable, bathroom was modern

A bit higgledy piggledy finding the room, staircases didn’t lead where you thought they would due to the layout of the hotel and maybe better signage might help?

Excellent location. Room was so much better than expected after reading the reviews on arrival we were greeted by a lovely young man at reception who checked us in really quickly told us about facilities so helpful, on giving us the card for our room he explained our room had a balcony and gave us the keys so we could open doors which was very helpful during the heatwave. Bed was very comfortable and a great shower and bathroom space.

Carpets could do with being replaced.

The room looked like it had just been done up. The bathroom had a walk in shower, it was very nice. Entertainment was good.

I had booked a sea view room but didnt get one. The manager gave me a refund for this and blamed booking.com for advertising Sea View Rooms. I have since emailed customer services at Head Office and they said the same thing, until I pointed out to them, it says you can pay a supplement for a Sea View Room on their own website! We had to wait along time each morning to be served at breakfast and then a while before the breakfast was bought to us. The poached eggs were icy cold in the middle. The bar area where the entertainment took place was too small and very very hot. The cereals, yogurt and grapefruit were served in large bowls to help yourself.

Everything was fresh and looked modern. The shower was amazing 🤩 Plenty of room for all of our clothes. Full size kettle with mugs and tea or coffe if we wanted it. Large tv and Wi-Fi very easy to use

No proper outside space apart from a few benches over what I assume was the outside swimming pool which was there when it was the Cavendish. There is a decking area outside the bar but this hasn’t been renovated since it changed names. The smoking area right outside the entrance to reception does not look or smell good 😌

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room and great location. Welcomed the ability to park at hotel too. Over all really enjoyed my stay here.
