Our stay was wonderful. The flat was beautify decorated, clean and had everything we needed. The location was great and central. Luca met us with the keys, explained everything and gave us information about Ortigia. He was extremely friendly and helpful with every question or help we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommended.

Incredible attention to detail from Luca, the manager of the property. We liked the location and the rooftop terrace.

The property was excellent. Stairs to the terrace are steep however, and some people may hesitate.

Fantastic location and enjoyed our six nights in La Fate apartment . It's located towards the end of the peninsula and so close to the little shingle town beach (swam early eve and could see fish when we bought a snorkel & mask). Near cafes, beautiful streets and squares and easy to walk everywhere. Had it's own lovely terrace off the kitchen/diner - that was so relaxing. Enjoyed the terrace in the morning and evening to eat or sit back on sunchair and feel at peace. It was so handy having shared washing machines room and also the clothes rack on the terrace. Apartment had a lift too. Apartment was characterful with mezzane bedroom area and had a homely feel. Luca was very helpful and eager for us to be happy with everything also organised a taxi for our last day to get to the bus station in Syracuse.

Luca will ask if everything is okay and offers to fix/change anything if there is anything that you want sorting.

Luca, was the most informative, helpful host we have come across in three decades of travels across Europe and Asia. He provided fulsome info on choosing places to eat, drink, swim, visit etc, etc. So appreciative, Luca! We loved our apartment and all its facilities (and our beach 100 metres away) and we talked about booking it again same time next year.

Charming and authentic property, lovely Privat court yard and very central to everything. The host was very helpful and service minded.

We really loved this wee very Sicilian house close to the sea and via Roma.Rooms are exactly as they appear on the site, you need to be mobile to enjoy this house as there are a few stairs to gain access to every room.This did not bother us as this was very clearly explained on the site.Roof terrace for breakfast and aperitivo was amazing.Luca is a very welcoming and helpful host.Access to Case del Fato was easy to find, a lift was available to access the apartment.A washing machine was available.We hope to return one day.Thank you for the welcome bottle of wine.Highly recommend

Beautiful, well equipped and perfectly located apartment in Ortigia. We stayed in “Veliero” and it had everything we needed. The little balcony was just big enough to enjoy a little aperitivo while looking at the sea. Luca was the best host we could ask for, and recommended some great restaurants nearby. A beautiful stone beach is located just a short walk from the apartment, perfect for a morning swim. We will come back!!

Located in a quiet and secure sidestreet, just a few minutes walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and the main Piazza Duomo.It is a lovely apartment with light and airy rooms, comfortable and well equipped. The courtyard provides a welcome haven and the host, Luca, could not have been more helpful. He was available on WhatApp whenever we needed advice and gave us a file of information and a full briefing when he met us to take us to the apartment.

The apartment is in a wonderful location - very close to the sea. Perfect for an early morning dip before breakfast. The apartment was large and airy. Great air conditioning system too - quiet and effective. Comfortable beds, good showers, a great place to use as a base to explore Ortigia and Syracusa. Host very helpful and informative. Would definitely return.

A very comfortable apartment just next to the beach. Good kitchen equipment. Perfect spot for evening dining excursions on Ortigia. Separate loundry room. My wife and I, we were very happy with our stay. After a week, we waned to stay for next month. Luca is a lovely and charming guy. Super helpful, you can feel he cares deeply about all his guests. We can fully recommend the place.

Sometimes a little bit too many noises from the neighborhood. The bed was comfortable but bit squeaky. The appartment is far away from the bus and train station, so you need to have that in mind.

Lovely comfortable apartment where we really felt at home. Fantastic location on a quiet street near the beach and walking distance from the main sights and excellent restaurants. Luca was such a great host, welcoming and kind, with lots of information and help for our stay, and was always on hand to address any issues or questions. Air conditioning kept the apartment cool and the fridge and washing machine facilities were a big help.

The shower was a bit weak.

It is a an apartment with character in an old traditional building just minutes away from the fantastic restaurants, shops and sights in Ortigia. It is peaceful and quiet especially at night so you can get a good night’s sleep. It is well equipped if you wish to cook for yourself, the showers are good and the bed is comfortable. Luca, the host, is very friendly and helpful. He is quick to respond to messages and nothing seems to be too much trouble for him, a perfect host. My daughter and I had a really lovely time in Ortigia (there for a wedding) and would certainly recommend this apartment.

Great location, close to two really nice swimming spots as well as cafe's, restaurants and museums. Host was very helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay, giving us the benefit of his local knowledge leading up to and during our visit.

We hired a car and it was always difficult to find parking even though we were prepared to walk a distance to the car. That aside we found very little not to like about our stay in Ortigia.

The location is superb in Ortigia towards the castle end with a small beach 200 meters away and close to all the main historical sites great for restaurants and Piazza del Duomo the courtyard garden is a delight and gets the sun during the morning and afternoon. the ground floor apartment is generous in size with everything you need provided plus clear information and laundry facilities on the first floor. Luca M meet us on arrival and explained everything we required to know plus good local information. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay and the bed is firm but very comfortable.

Everything was great

This was one of the most charming, delightful places I've stayed at for a long time. The situation simply couldn't be better, with the apartment building being in one of the quieter, breezy & idyllic streets near the tip of the little gem that is Ortigia island (historical centre of Siracusa). There are plenty of really nice places to eat & drink literally minutes from the front door, and even a beach. We stayed in the "Casa delle Fate" apartment, which perfectly suited our needs, complete with historical features, like stone arches and a well, that have been renovated with care. It's clear that a lot of love and attention went into the apartment, with plenty of lovely personal touches that speak to our host Luca's personality. Everything was very clean. The terrace was really a plus—let's just say we had plenty of wine-filled moments watching the sun go down surrounded by all those exotic plants! In fact, one of those bottles happened to be a gift from the host, a Nero d'Avola red, which happens to be a personal favourite of ours: delicious. Now, as for our host Luca, I honestly can't think of the last time I met anyone as thorough, attentive and on the ball as him! I felt like a 5-star hotel celebrity guest! Lots of recommendations, helpful tips and an entire folder worth of information on Siracusa and surrounding area—very useful. On top of that he is charming and clearly a very good person.

Some guests might be bothered by the occasional low ceiling or tight stairway, but for us that was totally part of the charm and we loved it. Anyway we're used to it in our Paris apartment, which has a similar layout. My only regret is that holidays have to come to an end, even if like me you are willing to break the bank just for that spontaneous, extra night in an apartment that we loved! Sadly we couldn't, but I hope to be back soon. Siracusa is magical, and this is the place you want to discover it from. Perhaps that explains the name "Fate", meaning fairies.

Luca is a fantastic host, easy to contact and helped us with whatever we asked for. The apartment is really beautiful and genuine. We also loved the all day sunny roof terrace. All in all, absolutely fantastic stay.
