Perfect location offering lovely views but a short walk from town. Owner helped set up transportation and offered suggestions on activities. Very good eggs for breakfast along with fruit, toast, yogurt and cereals. Be prepared for short showers (it is an ecolodge!)

The location is great. It's super quiet and you have a great view - but the town is within less than 10 minutes walking distance.

The mattress was very hard and caused some back pain (even though we usually like firm mattresses). Also the bed is only 1,90m long.

Exceptional view and breakfast. The location is perfect - not in the city center of Salento but in close walking distance. Therefore you can have the perfect mix between country side and city life. The owner was warm-hearted and super nice to chat with and provided us with all necessary information about tours like hiking or horse riding activities. You can book tours directly with the hotel you want. I would love to come back one day

Beautiful location just outside of the bustling little tourist town of Salento. The view over the valley is outstanding, almost magical. The room was spacious and breakfast delicious. Cristina was a delightful and engaging host. Enjoyed the 10 minute walk down a dusty road to reach all the eateries and happenings in town.

By far the best place to stay in Salento. It's a short walk out of the town, but that's more than made up for by the fantastic welcome, the high standard of the rooms and the amazing breakfast. And the incredible view!

Really loved our stay here. The location for us was perfect (quiet but a quick, pretty 10 min walk into town). The breakfast was great and view was as well. The owners were so helpful and lovely- would absolutely recommend it for your time in Salento!

The view (right out of bed..) is amazing. It’s outside of town, but still at a walking distance. The owner is very very nice and helpful.

the incredible view, the fresh air, the decor and layout of the room, the relaxing vibe and our super friendly host made our stay wonderful. The breakfasts and coffee were also fabulous. I wish we had booked for longer.

Our stay at the gran azul was amazing. Christina was so helpful with her recommendations and helped us organize everything during our couple of days in salento. The breakfast every morning was the perfect way to start our day.

The location is perfect, very close to to town (a few minutes walk) but it feels like the countryside. The room have amazing views, were very clean and have hot water. Jordi, the owner was very hospitable and responsive, and helped us a lot with transportation and activities.

We loved everything about our stay! Jordi was an amazing host, always making sure we had the information we needed and felt welcome. The property is very close to the town center but off the main roads and quiet. The view is beautiful!

There is nothing we didn’t like!

It was the best place of the whole trip! We needed a long rest and it seemed like the perfect place to do it, and indeed it was. Jordi is a wonderful host and helped us decide what to do in the area. The breakfast was excellent and eating it in front of such a view was amazing! The room is very clean and beautiful.. Even the distance from the town made the stay magical, quiet and special and the walk was enjoyable. Finally, thank you for the wonderful hospitality, we won’t forget it 💓🤩

Cristina was wonderful, helped us to get into the village during one occasion, breakfast was excellent, view was great from our room

Room was really cold, there were no heaters ,mosquitoes inside the room, accommodation overcharged my card with 2 percent upon checkout, however there was nothing explained about this policy , at the time of check-in, we have travelled across the world, but atleast basic amenities should be there, bed were really hard, and there was bunk bed in another room which was really uncomfortable to sleep

We felt very comfortable, everything was perfect! Nice view, hot shower, a cosy bed, delicious breakfast and Cristina is a great Host!!
