Beautiful setting and buildings. Room was amazing

Some of the staff members were not very welcoming. The lady on reception for checking was great and the lady at breakfast was lovely. When we went to the bar they were not very happy.

The hotel was well located near Canterbury, with ample free parking. The on-site restaurant was reasonably priced, and the food was good. Breakfast was fantastic.

The bathroom, while functional, was dated and cramped.

The setting was lovely. It was very much aimed at being a wedding venue

The staff were very in experience. Young who needed guidance. It would have helped to have had a more experienced member of staff to help out. There were 11 in our party. We had meal which was nice. After the meal we were told that we could not get another drink as the bar was closed. It was 10.3p on a Saturday night. There was a birthday function in full swing so this was a little annoying. No manager to help us out. Few small other things that could easily have been fixed. Door knobs falling off Blocked sink Light bulbs blown No water in the room fridge

Lovely location, friendly staff, very clean and nice food

Only snags were nobody to carry suitcases upstairs to rooms, a rather limited evening menu, some specials would have been nice and an over the bath shower rather than a walk in one as we both suffer a bit with mobility.

The extra bed was uncomfortable. An adult can’t sleep in a thin mattress like that one , sorry

very pretty, nice and clean, close enough to town without all the traffic, food and dining room were very pleasant as was the member of staff attending.

room was too hot, receptionist in the evening we arrived was rather indifferent, not the easiest to manoeuvre round when you have cases and a child as some doors open the wrong way at the top of stairs

Excellent breakfast. Not much within walking distance but Canterbury park and ride just a short drive away.

Room was in the corridor at the top of the stairs and people transiting the corridor could be hear easily in the room.
