heating was on a timer that the inn controlled didn’t come on till 6pm then only warm do not very warm at all

Staff really friendly and efficient. Good atmosphere in the bar on a Saturday afternoon. I enjoyed a few glasses of wine and scampi and chips when I arrived. Spotlessly clean room.

The music from the pub was really loud in my room. This didn’t bother me because I spent time in the pub then got ready to go out, and the pub was closed when I returned. But it wouldn’t be great if you wanted to rest in your room.

The room was nice and tidy, enough for a small family.

First night the room was cold, but we mentioned it and they turn higher the heater. Breakfast was not available, however we told the lady we want to get breakfast the next day, she said they serving breakfast from 8 am, but when we went down the catering part was closed.

Staff was frendlie and helpful. Bed comfortable. Rather clean.

I found hair in the bathroom, and it definitely was not owers. Also in the evening it was rather cold in the room. But I guess everyone is saving on the energy bills nower days.

The staff absolutely raised this place to another level. Nothing was too much trouble. Claire deserves a BIG shout out. She guided us through a moderate medical concern, explaining how NHS works. The bar is welcoming and the suppers are very good. I was just sad we hadn't had a few extra nights. Globe very nicely placed in town if you are on foot too.

Good location close to the town. Great Bar, staff were excellent & very helpful. Room was comfortable & cosy.

The food was so nice I'd liked to of taken the cheff home . The bar staff was excellent and bed staff brilliant. Compfy and relaxing great place to stay indeed

The parking with a great building like it is and it's local history of Tamworth they should buy the car park next door or give the residents of the hotel a parking slip so they can enjoy it more and not having to spend 4.50£ a day where they have anuff car parks around the town then this would make it a better place even if they build an extension on the side for out door for the ppl or building a garden to relax in simply simples really
