good location (away from it all), comfortable beds, cozy breakfast area and living rooms.
the bathroom was dirty, the windows in the room as well. breakfast was poor and included rotten fruits.

We paid for a premium lake view room but much of the view was obstructed. I would not define the view as the pictures. We did not have any wifi connection in our room, as promised. We had to use the sitting areas to connect. The hotel needs some general upkeep with rugs, drapes, etc. It has great potential but is a bit worn down. Other guests when coming and going were very noisy banging luggage going up/down steps. We could hear everything. The temperature was very warm while we're were there and they could not turn off the radiator heater, making room way too warm.

fantastic views over the lake. The location is a bit out of the city, so you need a car, but it's very peaceful and scenic. Staff was very friendly, also helped us with tours in the area.

The location of this hotel is unparalleled, you get a perfect view of Lake Argentina! Waking up every morning to the most glorious sunrise overlooking the lake is something I will always remember. The staff are so helpful and kind, the rooms spacious and warm— with daily housekeeping. This is a gem outside of the town of El Calafate; yes it is a taxi ride away from the center but staying in the tranquil setting beats staying in the town any day!

The place was very very nice and clean, well maintained and had a great view! It was so quaint and beautifully kept and decorated. I loved all the wood and country farm feel. Breakfast was great!

Good breakfast with one of the -best views of the lake. Very comfortable rooms and guess what, they also have such a stunning view of the Lake Argentino, so you won't miss those massive morning and sunset colors from your bed. Looking forward to come back soon!! :)

The property has a wonderful view of the lake and is located at the edge of the town so it’s nice and quiet. The property has nice and spacious rooms and even a nice and cozy restaurant where breakfast and dinner is served. also can forget about the the dog (Negro) on the premise!
Only thing that comes to mind is that it could have slightly better WiFi; everything else was ok in my book.

The place is lovely and comfortable, and the staff is very helpful. Our room, and other common areas have a beautiful to the lake.
The hostería is on of the last places along El Calafate, so it's far from the center of the village. You need to take taxis back and forth to restaurants.

the breakfast was not good because it offered just sweet breads and spreads but no healthy options, such as eggs or plain yogurt and fruit. There may have been the ubiquitous ham slices and cheese (didn't see it), but it was still insufficient for a full day of hiking. The boxed lunch is pretty much what most places in the area provide, but not great.

I was in a front-facing room and it was a little on the warm side during the day - not a problem for me, as I was outdoors all day on the days I was there, but if high temperatures aren't your thing, and you don't mind giving up a view of Bahia Redonda, choose a rear-facing room and view the bay from the terrace

most people will probably think that it’s a little out of town but the taxis were cheap and available and we got to walk the open spaces and enjoy the big sky

Large comfortable room with great view of lake, excellent home cooking at reasonable prices, very helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Would thoroughly recommend for this hotel type. Taxis to town are very reasonable.
