Only location
The most noisy place!
The rooms have some small open windows that are always open and you can hear everything outside, there were 2 super noisy Cuban girls and the staff was talking to them making all kind of noises.
The toilet is also noisy and old.
Don't come here! Staff cannot be quiet, there are noises all night long

really functional, central, clean. comfortable - in an interesting part of town, very good value at the price, run by good people (you need to make the effort to speak a little Spanish, if that’s too challenging maybe not the place for you)
I missed having plenty of daylight in the room but that’s a small compromise for the super good value

Overall this is a very good hotel, the location is perfect if you want to spend time in el centro and the room was very comfortable and very clean. I slept great every night and the room was cleaned daily.
If you work online, this is not a good place to stay. The wifi was useless. Sometimes you can get a signal on the roof but even then I could not work successfully and had to search for comfortable places to go to work in. The outlets are very old and the only grounded outlet I could plug my laptop in was in the bathroom, and also the other outlets in the room only loosely hold plug-ins so heavier things like phone chargers could almost never stay plugged in the wall, they constantly fell out.

We liked the location, the hotel is close to Zocalo, 9 min walk. There's also a few restaurants around the hotel and good metro, tram and bus connections. The hotel also has a room terrace which is a nice place to hang out.
Someone stole money from us and the hotel staff didn't seem to care about it which only made us sure it was one of them that stole it. Only hotel staff has the access to the rooms and it is a shame they gave to steal from their guests. Always keep your valuables locked or with you.
Also, we found there were many rooms filled with shoe boxes and the hotel staff was removing shoes out of them and then throwing the boxes in the hallway - not caring about how much noise they made. They then repacked the shoes in plastic, using scotch tape to put everything together - all of this was done in the evening and the whole process was very, very loud. This was happening every night, from 9 pm to about 2 or 3 am, staff was throwing the boxes around, talked and laughed very loudly and was slamming doors for the most part of the night which made it impossible to sleep. We found it very inconsiderate to the hotel guests. It seemed like there were also kids with them, also being very loud. We stayed there for 4 nights and this was happening all throughout our stay. Things got quiet only after 2-3 pm. It was a horrible experience, staff didn't care about the guests wellbeing and we would not recommend this hotel to anyone - unless you are a good sleeper and don't mind the noise.

Very clean.
My problem definitely, but it is still unfortunate that no staff spoke English.

great location, very good price, best thing is that they let you check in as early as you arrive (we arrived at 8:00 a.m.)
very noisy, you can hear a person farting in another room :D

The stuff were so nice and helpful with our request to change a room, the room was really nice with a small balcony and a big shared roof with sitting area
Absolutely liked it!
There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom sometimes and the twin room is a bit small but i enjoyed it anyway

Affordable
Water in the shower never got very well. Lights tire into electrical system, so if you want to charge phones and the like have to leave the lights on

+ affordable price, but no air con, lucky the city is cool during the night
+ location, walking distance to most POI, metro is not far away
+ cleanness, bed sheets change everyday
+ help and friendly staff, but they dont speak English, thanks Google translate app
- road nearby under construction, dusty, uber car has hard time getting in
- area looks not safe even for male
- thin wall and bad sound proof, u can hear noise from balcony from others guess early morning and late night
- the guest staying there really noisy, they should be more considerate especially after 12AM midnight.

The location
We couldn’t sleep in 5 days, they were a lot of noise all night. And they had lousy customer service.
2.0 / 5.0
The only good is the location, everything else even the safety inside the property is questionable and if you travel with children I do not recommend
Almost nothing I liked, it needs a huge remodeling and it should say it is rented by hours, so we know if you bring your family or put a note that it is used for short periods of time, so we can make a conscious decision to bring your family there.

Nice and spacious room, great location (couple of minutes from the metro station and the heart of the city), wonderful cleaning service, a good restaurant next door with yummy breakfast, great value for money.

That the single room is a King-size bed and that the beds where comfortable. Very close to El Zócalo and Bell Artes
, No A/C but does come with a ceiling fan.
An important thing missing is an Iron and ironing board in the room

Location, price, at least warm water(not hot).
Expect to be freezing in the winter time. 1 thin blanket is a joke. I asked for the 2nd, it was still cold. I asked for 3rd - the reception guy said - you already have 2 blankets, that's it. Though the hotel was empty during the covid-19. Not nice at all.
