Breakfast was so so, the restraunt on site is extreamly slow and out of a lit of items on.kenue
This hotel is very poorly maintained, wifi extreamly poor, bathrooms in very poor condition.resteraunt is very poorly run. Better hotel options on out skirt of town

the property was easy to access from airport and after the safari. The lady that received us and got our suitcases was really helpful and smiley all the time
we were disappointed because we left our big suitcases there before our safari as we were coming back to stay there another night after the safari. we put a zip tie on the suitcases zips but one was only put on the main zip. when that suitcase was collected the top zip was slightly open. My dad check but it seemed that everything was there, until we arrived to our hotel in Zanzibar and he was looking for his sandals which he left on top of the suitcase facing upside down have disappeared and slowly realised that some of his new t-shirts that he bought specially for the beach have also disappeared. he would have to ably given them to them if the ask however is sad that the helper them self.

Clean, excellent facilities such as Wi-Fi connection, basic but good breakfast, very attentive porter and other staff
Very strong curry smell that spread over the hotel, good hotel but does not match with its location- which was noisy. Telephone numbers indicated on the phone were all wrong.

The hotel that was situated in a great location - it was close to the market and not too far from the clock town. The room I stayed in was nice and clear, but I did have to pay extra to switch to the mountain view room. It was a little frustrating because the system showed the rate with that option, but overall, the room was comfortable.
As for the breakfast, it wasn't bad at all - there were many choices for me to select from.
The staff was also very helpful, although at times it did take them a little while to reply to my questions.
However, my stay was great and exceeded my expectations.

It was very clean, very welcoming and had everything on site that was needed.
Wifi was a bit glitchy and it was not possible to pay for a taxi on my card had to do it with cash which we did not have.

Concierge was outstanding. Very welcoming. Dealt with our luggage even when the elevator was temporarily off for maintenance.

Breakfast was good and the quality of the evening meal food was also good when I ate in the restaurant. Staff were friendly. In a convenient location. Comfortable lobby. Good Wifi and wide variety of TV programmes.
Shower was sometimes warm rather than hot. Staff in restaurant did not always understand English and the service was slow - ie had to wait a long time for food to be served (40 or 50 minutes at times). My room was connected to another by a door so I heard a lot of noise from next door - this was an unusual situation as other rooms were not like this.

Airport transfers were a real problem. Had booked to get to the airport but for some reason that didn't get passed on and that created some issues for us.

The full body scrub from the spa is the perfect thing after a long safari

The air conditioning worked well and wasn't noisy. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and tidy.
The location is well suited for walks around the town and local markets.
In today's world of electronic money on cards, I detest paying a surcharge percentage when paying the bill. Maybe this is a charge applied by the banks, but I still don't think it is fair.

Everything was perfect: the structure is really close to central market, our room was very clean and quiet, nets at the windows and bathroom was good.
We asked for a hair dryer: the staff was supportive and provided it in 5 minutes.
Management of the bathroom fan to be facilitated.

Breakfast is very very Basic compared to other Hotels charging the same Room Rate. Am sure Venus can improve on that.
Location for me is just Perfect.

The hotel interior was good and clean.
The spa treatment was amazing. Loved every bit of it. I think it was the classic oil treatment.
The staff were all quite pleasant.
The rooms and bathrooms are spacious
The location is more in the commercial centre with alot of hardware shops around.

The staff was nice, rooms were clean and comfortable
The noise is overwhelming, there is no insulation, making it very difficult to sleep. I am a relatively heavy sleeper, but still woke up at 4 am to the elevator sound of either staff or guests as there were quite a few arrivals. At 5 am, woke up again to the sound of the local mosque and as of 6 am you can hear the traffic outside. Additionally, WiFi was spotty and often got disconnected, additionally as i left my phone open during the night emails/messages were downloaded on data instead of WiFi

The breakfast staff were efficient, kind, thoughtful and seemed to care about their work and took pride in providing delicious traditional and western food items.
