Very good location, with a very welcoming, carefull and friendly staff, very good breakfast and restaurant. Good cleaning, good rooms, all was working perfctly.

The location and hotel room were exceptional, spectacular view of Lake Como from our room and balcony!! The staff was very friendly and helpful even though we do not speak Italian they made every effort to make sure our stay was outstanding. Highly recommend Hotel Sole!!

Ever grateful that we discovered this hotel a few years ago, and we have returned time and time again since then.This warm family-run hotel is completely unique in its simplicity and comfort, and the service is deliciously professional and personal in perfect balance. AND we got our favorite room where we slept wonderfully with a view to Lake Como in thunderstorms every night<3 The restaurant has a good reputation and is popular, with delicious homemade flavors. The tiramisu and the panna cotta are recommended for dessert. The breakfast is of course also very nice with eggs, cheeses, pastries and so on. Hotel Sole has also got a new accessory: an outdoor pool, where we enjoyed ourselves despite the somewhat cold water.

The only thing I can think of is that since we love this hotel so much we have to use every holiday to come here.. ;)

Family-run hotel in a top location directly on the lake. The restaurant serves excellent fish dishes. Since the kitchen was already closed when we arrived, they reserved us a table in a nearby pizzeria.

Great family run business and can’t recommended the hotel enough. We had a horrendous day getting from Siena to Como as a result of the elections and due to busier than usual transport and we had to bus hop the whole way north and arrived in Como at 11.30 which was too late to get any taxis or boats. Taxi drivers were charging €200 from Como to Mennagio so we decided to overnight in Como instead in a €100 a night hotel. When we arrived at Hotel Sole the owner of the hotel offered to halve the bill for the night we missed and gave us complimentary drinks and upgraded our room to the lake view on the top floor. The family could have just kept to the booking but went way overboard to accommodate us. We greatly appreciated the many gestures of good will and thank the family for the generosity and kindness. Great people and lovely place on the lake.

A beautiful, roadside family run hotel. A lovely welcome and a large, comfortable, airy bedroom. A fabulous restaurant, again family run, with delicious food.

Thé passing traffic! Bur that’s the downside for lakeside accommodation. in this price category. The hotel was superb though.

We have been for a long weekend. all the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The view from my room was amazing. Restaurant was the best, everything was very very delicious, specially the morning breakfast. I highly recommend!

A bit noisy staff, because the hotel close to a busy road it is also a bit noisy in the morning.

The room was really nice, with comfortable bed and very clean. Breakfast was delicious! Even though we arrived after the check in hours there was someone to give us our key to our room.
