Beds are not comfortable, sofa in living room is horrible. There is so bad smell from sewage that the whole apartment stinks.

Sofa bed was terribly unconfortable, also there were stairs inside the appartment which is not safe for the children.

Everything about the apartment was exceptional. The location was perfect just behind the main square and eveything was in a walking distance. If you want to go to the beach you can rent a bike and ride throw the beutiful park. The building is amazing in the authentic style. In the apartment you have everything you need towels, bed sheets, utensils and the kitchen is well furnished. If I come back to Valencia I would rent the apartment again.

Great location. In the city center of Valencia. We found out quickly that bathroom of our apartment is in narrowest building in entire Europe. You can feel like celbrity because all the time people are taking pictures. Flat was clean and key pickup was very convinient with key locker. Good info from owner.

Despite flat being clean, it is very badly kept - walls are damaged in many places. Chair was broken, bed was broken and were not sure, if we really can sleep on it. There is to many not needed things in flat and lack of some basic stuff (place to connect water kettle, cups!). Despite reporting all those issues owner was not elastic enough to no take 20 Euro!!! per day for 2.5 kg dog with hair instead of fur.

It was dirty at arrival although they're asking for deposit. The stairs are really impossible with big luggage.

We were not met at the appartment as our messages had not been read. We had to sit for over half an hour before we were met by a receptionist. We had an extremely heavy suitcase and had to carry it up the 82 stairs to our room. It would have been nice if Sebastian could have offered to help us. we are both in our mid 60s.

run down, really needs some maintenance e.g. shower door and shower itself is in bad condition, no door into the toilet, dirty toilet brush. 2 single beds which continuously separate, towels provided were really worn and quite small. the electronic lock on the main entrance to the apartments is broken and anyone can enter the building from the street by just pushing in the door which is not safe. also the stairs up to the apartment is dirty and needs to be re-painted

Location.

Being accused of causing criminal damage to property with partial loss of deposit as a result. Poor state of apartment and unusable sofa bed and grubby bathroom. Renter beware, carry out full accompanied survey of property and photograph and video everything is my advice.

the shower was very cold. there was not enough dishes or pots. neither coffe, sugar, salt.

it was centrally located close to lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. lovely view from our balcony. clean and well equipped.

Great location and views! The 13th century church is awesome! Also you can see El Micalet, Valencia's Cathedral tower. There is something precious and special to stay in the historical building in the Old Town. Our apartment was on the 3 floor and had only small squire windows without a balcony. The living room faces the other side with ruins (I will add the photo). Stairs were not a problem for me and my children. I like the design of the apartment, it is simple but lovely. The apartment was clean and the price was reasonable.

I asked many times about the procedure of check in because I was with children and the day of check in was my birthday so I wanted everything to go smoothly but it was not so. I was told to come to reception for the key for another address (Pintor Domingo 8) but nobody was there! We met a man in the neighborhood who did not speak English at all but did his best to help us and he called our host. After we were stressed finally got to the apartment we received at 16:17 a letter from the host with the instruction for self check-in! Why did you not send it on the previous day as all other hosts do if my booking was already paid for! Also we get only two pairs of towels for three persons. Wi-fi was very weak and unstable, it was impossible to use zoom or meet for work, only to receive messages. Also some expected things for comfort were missing like hooks for clothes or corkscrew in the kitchen that can be easily improved. It's a pity because actually this place itself is very good especially if you get the apartment with the balcony.

Wifi signal is not the best.

The location couldn’t be better. It’s close to mostly everything you wanna visit in Valencia. The aircondition system is great which is important in such hot and humid weather. One more thing we enjoyed is the balcony, that looks over a small square. However there are no tables or chairs on it, we put out the ones from the dining area to have dinner outdoor.

Cleanliness. The chairs in the dining room had crumbles all over, as well as the sofa bed. It was very dusty inside on all surfaces. The towels we got were dirty with spots and some even had holes in them. We asked for new ones but the new didn’t look any better either. There was no hot water. When talking to the staff they said someone will come and have a look at it. The cleaning lady came and tried to solve it but then walked out trying to explain it in Spanish why it doesn’t work. Even after asking again, they still didn’t fix it nor updated us or apologized for it. The apartment seems modern and nice on pictures but once you arrive you can see that the furniture is rather old, scrappy and feel a little dirty as well. In the description it was mentioned that we would have a washing machine and a dishwasher but none of those were in our apartment (number 1). The fridge was leaking water on the floor. There is no elevator, so it was a struggle to bring our big suitcases upstairs on the narrow staircase.

The location of the apartment is amazing, really central with nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. There is a bar on the square of the apartment that can be a bit noisy until about 00:00 or 01:00 but for us that wasn't a problem. The airconditioner has a vent in almost every room, which is really nice. The bedroom is spacious, has a lot of closet space and the bed is comfortable. All in all it's a good place to stay especially for the price, just check certain facilities before you book, as we had some issues (see next part).

The facilities were not as we expected. The Wifi wasn't working, the shower leaked (old shower water came out of the walls which was really unhygienic, and water leaked straight into the bathroom) and there was extremely loud construction going on in the apartment right next to us from 8am every morning (heavy drilling into the wall of our room). We spoke to guests of the other apartments and the local coffee house below and they told us the Wifi wasn't working all week, so when reception gave us the Wifi password it felt like they deliberately did not say anything about it not working. Also the shower seems to be a recurring complaint on Booking.com since 2018. The construction next door apparently had been going on for 3 months already, and we weren't told about that either. We got in touch with reception about our complaints and they fixed the Wifi (it only worked in one room, but good enough for us). They also fixed the shower, but with a temporary solution, we expect people after us will most likely run into the same issue after a while. Though they fixed the Wifi and shower we really advise to check the following BEFORE you book here: - is the Wifi working? - is the shower leaking? - is there still construction going on? Good to mention as well that we were told by reception that if they weren't able to fix the facilities they could only 'refund' one night on a next booking. Which was a bit weird to us, as we clearly did not wish to book another vacation with them if they would not be able to fix the facilities.

The view of the nearby Santa Catalina tower was amazing, the apartment is perfectly located within walking distance to everything in the center and the bed was very, very comfortable. Also the stairwell smelled great.

The only lamp was missing the lightbulb and one of the balcony doors didn't work at all. Also, while we didn't mind the climb up the stairs, I feel like there should be more of a warning-someone with less mobility or with more luggage would have really struggled.

The appartement was super ! However the neighbor was making works at 8 a.m every day and we could sleep too much ... we would appreciate if the staff warned us..

The apartment on the 4th floor is really nice with a beautiful view over the city and a small balcony on which the sun shines all day. It's located in the middle of the city centre. To both of the metro stations Xativa and Colon it's only about 10 minutes walk. From there you'll have a good connection to the airport. WiFi is really good. But there are some things which could be improved.

The guy who rents the apartment seems to be nice but always in a hurry. He was one hour late to let me into the room. The other half of the same house is a construction site at the moment so it's unbelievably loud from 8 in the morning till evening, except weekends. The room itself is small but nice. The kitchen and the dishes could be a bit cleaner. In the bathroom the holding of the shower head was broken and there was mould. The water pressure is very low in the shower and kitchen. Not much space in the bathroom. There is a wall made of glass bricks where's no curtain. So it isn't dark in the room. Every midnight the workers are cleaning the market place in front of the apartment. That's quite loud but needs only 10 minutes.
