The Heritage Bungalow 10 is a beautiful place and perfect for a few days' retreat in the lap of nature. The staff is exceptionally good and each member goes the extra mile to make sure that guests are always comfortable and have what they need. The food is out of this world. Home-cooked goodness and genuinely lip-smacking. We loved everything.

The hosts could not have done anything more for us. They were all friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us with a taxi for the day to take us to Darjeeling. The views are stunning from the bungalow. Local walks around tea plantations in the freshest of air! The food was excellent and very good value - they asked us what we wanted rather than a menu and made some excellent recommendations.
Nothing that we didn't like. The bungalow was quite difficult to find so you may want to use a local taxi driver (we hired from Bagdogra airport) who knows the area.

Overall an excellent and plesurable experience.
Mr. Gurung and his family was one of the best hosts we haev ever met.The location of the property is breathtaking and they have extra care on the cleanliness.The entire place was so peaceful.
The trek from the homestay to Rangli bazar was the most entertaining among all.
I would like to visit this place again in future.

the staffs are pretty good. the view from the property is awesome. we visited in the month of June and it was truely a land of mist

The stay was excellent. Excellent location, the food was simple,homely but excellent in taste. Staffs were very helpful, co-operative,took good care of each and every need of each boarder. The front view was excellent. Overall this trip became memorable becoz of such excellent home stay. I highly recommend this stay. Very peaceful and soothing in the lap of mother nature. Villagers are also very good and friendly.

Breakfast was awesome! Customized personal care made it even better.
Only two things - the steep stairs to be climbed to reach the property , and the very poor condition of the approach road.

The location and ambience was wonderful. The lodge is Wonderful architecturally. The food( bf, lunch, dinner n v light afternoon snacks with tea) is charged 1000/- per day per head but what was served for that price does not justify the price! He charged GST but no tax invoice was provided.
Food appeared to be over priced. Price didn't match quality.

Hospitality of the owner and behaviour of the staff was very good. They prepared homely food according to our requirements. View from the terrace was excellent. Overall a wonderful and unforgettable stay. We enjoyed the stay very much.
