Loved everything about the property. The grounds were gorgeous and everything had an old world charm. Bren was a very attentive hostess.

Bren is a lovely host bright and bubbly we love 🤩🤩 her personality we will definitely see bren & tony near future and recommend our friends choose to stay at this property at least 3 nights, the unit very very comfortable, warm, cozy (people don't expect too much it is holiday unit 😊) spent time admiring the work put into this huge landscape absolutely beautiful took a number of photos, private wedding a must do (ask first 🤗). For a couple bren & tony maintaining this property inside and out exceeded our expectations.

We stayed only 2 nights 😔 arriving needs at least one night to sit in comfortably, another day to unwind before going on your adventure of napier if you have a diary like I do tick all the boxes you'll definitely find there's much more to like and must do. Wish I could add more photos of our stay at least 10 oh well.

Tony waited for us to check in though we arrived late after dark when he knew we didn't have dinner yet and it was a bit late to dine out he has kindly brought us some eggs and extra toast so we could have a simple dinner when we were exhausted The room together with bathroom toilet and pantry are spotless clean and the bed is very comfy when we got back to the place next day late afternoon Brenda has turned on the heater for us, such a warm feeling like going back home, really sweet if u are a garden lover, u must visit there

The host, the place, the environment, the ambience, the serenity, the gardens, the facilities, the breakfast choice provided, the citrus trees, the rabbits on the lawn in the morning the French 'feel' of the place and that from an Anglophile - LOL

Absolutely stunning in every way, the setting, the decor, the tiniest detail was attended to in the furnishings.The breakfast was lovely, good selection of cereals, spreads, drinks

Amazing location, quiet and peaceful. Big telly, good Wi-Fi, comfy furniture. Amazing bed, excellent brekkie. I’ve been looking for a place that ticks all the boxes on my regular trips to Hawkes Bay. Finally found it, for my box ticking.

No kitchen. The shower takes ages to choose what temperature it’s showering you with. Apart from that, it’s all good.

stunning gardens, beautiful trees, peaceful and has a lovely feel, old gardens with a nostalgic vibe, beautiful vintage French flair with bespoke pieces dotted around the property, unique, inspiring, I left with so many ideas for my own garden. Bren and Tony make you feel so welcome, Bren even picked me up from the airport, everything was just delightful and perfect.

The hostess was very accommodating and the accommodation was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfy and luxurious, I didn’t want to get up. The garden was beautiful, wish I had more time

Breakfast was fine.

Host didn't know how to operate the TV. Had to wait for the husband to arrive and we still had difficulties with it afterwards so gave up. There is a need for clear written instructions on how to operate the TV and hosts need to know how to operate TV. Decor is a bit dated but clean. Some old rusting garden furniture which needs to be replaced. An arbour outside suffers also from old rusting outdoor chairs. Could do without a rooster waking us up early. However, slept well until then.Host needs to wear a mask at all times in these Covid times when entering the room.
