The stairs were wet on the first day (may because it had just rained a lot) and was weekend . Also the internet tripped somehow

The property is next to the slipway waterfront t which has access to great shops, supermarket, restaurants and bars.

Terrible treatment. Take your money elsewhere. I booked a mini apartment for a week because my place was undergoing renovation my place. Arrived on Wednesday evening. 5 days later, on Monday morning I receive an email from Edna, the estate manager, asking me to go to her office to ‘discuss my accommodation’. I wasn’t sure what that means but I had several meetings lined up so I emailed her back, telling her I was busy that morning and that whatever she wants to say to me, she can communicate via email, otherwise happy to swing by when I get back. I proceed to leave the property but the guards wouldn’t let me leave the property. I asked why they were detaining me, they told me you’re called in the estate managers office. I asked them what is the problem, they said they don’t know and that I just need to go to the estate office. I told them I was running late and will be back in the evening. They completely refused to open the gate. They called the estate office and spoke to someone, I’m assuming Edna, and they told the person that I’m at the gate and want to leave . The person on the other end told them to not let me out. I was absolutely shocked, humiliated and confused! Because I couldn’t afford to miss my meeting, I decided to leave the car inside and walk outside the building to get a cab to make my meeting. I was surprised the guards didn’t handcuff me at this point. My entire morning was ruined. Later after my meeting I called the property to ask why they wanted to speak to me in the first place and why they detained me. This lady Edna proceeded to tell me that they weren’t taking any guests and that when I booked the apartment on Wednesday, I shouldn’t have been allowed to stay. I told her well, that is not my problem. I made a booking, paid for the stay and was welcomed by the staff I found at the reception.
