The property is located in secure area. In the middle of all the important points of interest. ALL the Staff are amazing. Clean facilities. Calm, AC. Great Bfast. Small clean pool & jacuzzi. Staff does NOT bother clients at all. Everyone respects each other. Recommend to foreigners & Locals too.
No Elevator But not needed. Easy stairs. No problem.

El personal, muy amables y atentos. Excelentes

Okay location, safe and cozy neighboorhood. Safe at night. The staff was trying to be helpful, even though they do not speak any English.
They booked us a trip to Guatape for 99.000 COP (in Spanish) and it was good.
"Boutique hotel" sounds misleading because it's basically a bunch of rooms run by a family. The room has seen better days and is very basic. There is no safe deposit box, not a single hanger in the closet, no hair dryer, even upon request. No toiletries, apart from a small bar of soap. We have stayed there for four nights and the room hasn't been cleaned at all. The trash bin hasn't been emptied. The lightning was unpleasant and problematic in the bathroom which made shaving almost impossible. The overall rating on booking sounds misleading.

Overall value for money, very clean, modern and comfy.
Uneven steps to 2nd floor!
Last step is about 50% higher than the rest, great in ancient castles, combined with low doorway, great.
Carrying cases upstairs not so great.
But hey that's one of Colombia's charms... Crazy!

Attentive overnight receptionist
Small sized hotel
Good location and nice residential area
Tours and taxi service
I dont know about you, but when I stay at a hotel for a few nights, there are basic things that should be included for a cozy experience.
For one, there wasn't even hand soap or shampoo, so bring your own or pay for shampoo downstaires. There were no hangers in the closet, nowhere to hang towels or set bathroom toiletries, not even a waste bin in the bedroom, unpleasant lighting (flickering light bulb in bathroom and missing bulb in the room- not even a night lamp).
There were no extra beach towels or bath robes for spa area in the room and no extra blankets. Decoration was really non-existent.
Cleanliness wasn't perfect. Our blanket had a large, crusty stain on it and we didn't even get to enjoy the jacuzzi because it was clearly very dirty and cold.
The breakfast was nothing spectacular and left much to be desired (they could at least serve fresh bread).
We reserved a one bedroom for two guests and received a room with three beds, crowding the room space.
Concerning the staff, they thought we weren't going to show up after confirmimg late check in time with them in advance. They were very noisy echoes from workers heard in the hallway in the morning and windows don't close well, so it was really noisy outside as well. The weren't extremely friendly with clients and we generally felt uncomfortable.
Best part? My husband left a debit card in his backpack and when we got back from a day trip, it was gone. He hid it very well in a backpack pocket, but it was nowhere to be found in the room. If on top of all of the negatives, they steal from you, this is just a joke of a hotel.
Overall, this hotel is very minimal, stingy, and disappointing for the price; there are much better options and better service for cheaper nearby. Keep looking!

I felt the pricing was fair, I received what I paid for. The room was very clean and so were the common areas. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, but close enough to several useful places like grocery stores, restaurants, a few shops and so on. They also gave me a brochure for a travel agency which I ended hiring for 2 different tours, total worth it as I had wonderful times visiting the most iconic places in Medellin. I would never have found out about this otherwise, so I’m thankful for that.
It could be handy to have a bigger sign outside the hotel. Also the bathroom could use some upgrade as there’s no place to put your toiletries in the shower, the toilet paper is kinda uncomfortable to reach. The pillows could be replaced with better ones. And finally there was a little bit of noise coming from guests at the pool, my room window was directly above the pool and wasn’t sound-proof, but luckily they have a no noise after 10pm policy. And one more thing, they offered me a brochure to order food from a nearby restaurant, not really their fault but the food was really bad so I strongly suggest to find some other option or go out if you can. I ordered food from other places using Rappi (local delivery mobile app) and the staff made sure it was delivered at my room door, so that was very nice.

The staff was very kind and the neighborhood is great, not so far away from the avenues and just a bit from interest points and it's very quiet.
The photos of Booking are quite misleading. The room was too small, also the pool is very tiny and the jacuzzi wasn't clean as the water always looked like it had a lot of dirt on its surface.

I like the attentiveness and the cleanliness. Located in a very safe place easy to walk around close to restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, grill restaurant and top grocery stores like D1 you can buy toiletries and sodas drinks food sandwiches in bulk if you want and 20 ;minutes to main downtown and plaza Botero in taxi or Uber which is a historical plaza for street clothing vendors and small eateries. Also the pool and the jacuzzi.aldo they offer inexpensive daily tours . Ask for a brochure and more information. Also Janette cleaning lady excelled in cleaning my room. All of the provide a home made like service.
They serve free basic breakfast but they also prepare inexpensive home made meals and fruit juices which they don't advertise much and I get to try until my last days but all you need is to ask marivi ( the administrator ) Monica very sweet Lady cook) or Jefferson (night shift care taker) or Jesus ( very kind maintenance guy)

Middle of a residential area so not much buzz around.

The staff was very accomodating, helped me anytime. Often my excursions around the country got me back very late and someone was always available to let me in. Highly recommend.

Very clean and quiet.
Bathroom so small it was necessary to enter shower to shut bathroom door. No place to hang towels or put soap. No power outlet in room, finaly found the only outlet behind bathroom door.

I stayed there for two weeks with my girlfriend. I could not have made a better choice. The staff was great. They made me feel like family. From the hotel administrator, Sr. Danny, receptionist, Sra. Mila, the cooking staff Sr. Jesus y Sra. Mónica, and the many other staff I encountered. Everything was great 😁. I was able to practice my Spanish, though many times it came out broken; the staff never hesitated to help me improve. The entire accommodation was wonderful and the hotel felt more like being at home than in a hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I thank all the staff at the Hotel Colores Boutique for their excellence. As a foreigner, if you want to improve your speaking skills in Spanish and truly enjoy the richness of the Latino and Colombian culture, I highly recommend Hotel Colores Boutique. Plus it's close to almost everything. From La Ochenta (80 Street) where there are many great mom and pop restaurants and street foods at affordable prices; to La Setenta (70 Street) where you can find many restaurants at reasonable prices, a greater variety of street food, and clubs where you can dance and practice your salsa moves if you're into dancing. Overall great hotel and location.
The mattress was a bit too hard and not as comfortable as I would have liked.
