Like a home from home in the centre of the City. A full kitchen, a comfortable lounge, a place to sleep. All beautifully created within the historic house.

Stairs keep you fit

Great location in the old town with views over the river on one side and a leafy street on the other. Cafes, restaurants, shops all on the doorstep quite literally. We had everything we needed with aircon, fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, and a washing machine. Our host was lovely to deal with and gave us information about the area.

We had a problem with the apartment which disrupted the stay. But in all fairness to our host she dealt with it quickly and offered options to resolve it. In the end we moved to another apartment in the same building for part of the stay.

Clean comfortable apartment in a great location. Kitchen is set up well for a longer stay. The air conditioning works well. Great views of the river. Very helpful staff.

The stairs can be a bit of a chore but it's a small price to pay for being able to stay in a historic building in such a great location.

The host was so nice, accommodating helpful, responsive. It is in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.

the location is perfect and the space is beautiful. excellent views of the Eiffel bridge and Girona’s colorful riverfront houses. also a very good shower.

the furniture is outdated and the bed was not comfortable. the sink did not drain properly. if you are traveling with a bike I cannot recommend it due to the very narrow and steep stairs.

amazing location. very spacious

The apartment is beautiful beyond expectation. For two people it’s palatial in size and comfort. The architect responsible for the renovation created amazing high end very modern apartments in an historical building. The custom stairway to the apartments is stunning but also narrow and steep, not by European standards but compared to what one is used to in the US, so, if you’re not fit or have those trunk size suitcases take note. The owners met us at the property and are as pleasant and wonderful as the apartment. Communication could not have been better and we look forward to staying at their property in the near future.

steep narrow stairs to access the property - not a problem for us but might be for others. lighting in bathroom was poor, hard for shaving. lacking mirrors in appartment, the only one was in bathroom.

Airy, stylish apartment. Great location: near the action, but not noisy at all once the windows are closed. Friendly, efficient communication with the host.

We thought that there was going to be a small balcony or terrace, but there wasn't (we were in the 3rd floor apartment and perhaps the balconies are only in the ones on lower floors ?). Not a huge problem, as the views from the windows at the rear are lovely and we just pulled chairs up close to them. The issue was that not all of the blinds worked, however. In particular, one did not go up, so the view was partially obstructed. Another did not come down, so it was too light in the mornings. Also, there is a cracked floor tile and a cracked tile on the staircase (not going to mention the exhausting climb with our luggage, as we had expected this, having read previous reviews), which are potentially dangerous. If these small things were fixed the apartment would be just perfect!

The location is fantastic and the apartment is comfortable and clean.

The position. Very well positioned in the old town. The apartment was very spacious and well-appointed with everything we needed. The view of the river. Fina who was very helpful.

As with many old buildings in the old part of the cities the stairway access was a bit problematic and strenuous for elderly folk. No parking within about 1km.

Fantastic apartment in the centre of Girona. Well equipped with WiFi, TV, washing machine etc. Stairs to the apartment are quite narrow for luggage but it's possible to get up with a bike bag albeit quite hard work!

The location vas very central and the apartment was an excellent value, clean and comfortable with lots of amenities. The host was very communicative and helpful. Our third floor apartment had wonderful views over the city and the river, although no balcony. Because it was the top floor, it was very quiet.

There were a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment, which was mostly a problem with the luggage and the days we rented a bike. In all fairness, I should have messaged the host before our stay about which floor our particular apartment was on. Lesson learned!

please read this review!! the handoff to get into the apartment was horrid. I was asked to hike up to Campus bar by the University (@75-100 stairs) in order to pay for the room. I still have not received a receipt showing that I have paid for the room. then, when you gain access, get ready for a 50+ step climb in a very narrow stone staircase barely wide enough to get by, even without luggage. if you are disabled or have a disability (as I do) it’s almost impossible. Have a large suitcase, forget it. now for the rest: no paper towels, 2 measly coffee canisters that did not work in the machine, no laundry soap. There are lots of places to stay in Girona, avoid this one. I finally got booking.com to intervene for me but really, not worth it.

Great location,perfect spot for exploring the city ,right next to the Jewish quarter,close to independent square, lot of bars and estaurants and a supermarket close by.

The bathroom has no privacy,depending on your group this could be an issue.

the apartment is a third floor without elevator, with very narrow and straight stairs, and it is not specified or warned when you book. There was no amenities at all, like coffee or sugar. And they recommended us where to park our car and it was forbidden so the police fined us with 100€

The location is great overlooking the river and ramblas and a nice modern style with exposed rock and brick walls. The hosts were very friendly. It was nice to overlook the river and close to everything we needed. The heating worked well and the shower was awesome. It was clean with an open floor plan, towel heater nice little kitchen space, refrigerator, washing machine. This apartment has many good attributes and some simple improvements would make it better but won’t be able to overcome the most significant issue.

When I found this place I was surprised that it had less than a “9” rating given the location and interior photos. I guessed it might be the lack of an elevator. I was right. The stairs are steep, narrow, poorly lit with a timed light that suddenly and dangerously turns off, and some of the steps are very worn making them more treacherous. Other issues were a worn out lumpy bed, no privacy in the bathroom or shower due to glass entry doors, no ledge in the shower for soap or shampoo, a coffee system that is virtually useless as I don’t know where to obtain the type of coffee inserts it takes, no hooks for towels or clothing, etc. In addition they use the space immediately in front of the apartment entrance to disorderly store extra stuff, folding bed, vacuum, and junk that should be elsewhere. Unsightly!
