Nice and close location. Room was massive. Staff very friendly and efficient.

My swipe card did not work the first night and there is no one on reception - I had to call the emergency number and the man that came to give me a new card was not particularly friendly and I felt really bad that I had to get him out to help. Also, our room was never cleaned after the second night - not sure if this is usual or not but there was nothing to say that it wouldn't be and we had been at the beach all day and would have loved clean towels and the rubbish emptied. As we came back after 7 there was no one on reception to ask for clean towels and I didn't consider it an emergency and didn't want to make the staff annoyed.

Bed was very comfortable! I had such a good sleep. Also loved how we were in the corner of the hotel as we had such a nice view of the city.

The hotel was very well situated and within walking distance to Pukekera Park, the main street, foreshore and museum/galleries. had good parking, large room and the lad at reception was very nice and helpful.

The location is great, central and close to shops and restaurants

The Bathtub is not very clean and during shower the tap cap became loose that we cannot adjust the water using the shower sprinkler.

Little bit of a rabbit warren to get to room. My choice, but I do like to keep a window slightly ajar to not compromise the air conditioning too much, but to get a feel for outside and fresh air - few cooking odours wafted in early in the morning.

Extremely central to TSB showpiece theatre and great eateries. We could see the sea from our room.

Only niggle was the duvet was very thin and no extra blankets so felt cold during the night.

not enough extraction in the bathroom and no plunger coffee.
