Breakfast was fine but disappointed that there was only one day when there was ready cut fresh fruit. Last day the three bananas out were overripe. Cooked food amazing . No plain yoghurts

Location
The walls were so thin we heard everyone walking past the room & noise from upstairs all night. Pillows were flat & the cooked breakfast was horrible😬 not to mention that they were pulling up the carpet right outside our door at 7.30am

Great location and friendly staff
When I arrived I had pre paid the room but I also had to leave a £50 deposit and this had to be done with a physical card and not on the phone Apple Pay like most upto date premises. A week later and I have still not been refunded my £50 bit wrong really

Basic, but cean and comfortable rooms.
Customer service was absolutely appalling, so much so it off set the satisfactory standard. I spent 20 to 40 mins trying to get into buildings. Another 15 for a staff member, and another 15 in discussion with the receptionist who refused to give me his name or the name of anybody to who I could make a formal complaint. It is advertised as 24 hour reception. The contact board was turned around and hidden so I only if I climbed over the rope and went behind reception could I have instructions to call a receptionist. From the car park I dialled reception 6 times and sent an email, receptionist called me liar even when I showed him on my phone! Not what you want gone midnight after having driven 300 miles. Despite what was stated on my booking email, he insisted I pay £50 deposit or could leave (not an option). God knows for what as bar and cafe shut, and I need to leave by 0800. I had already paid in advance on a none refundable booking. Absolutely awful. Would rather have slept in my car. I recorded the conversation, (after about 10 mins) with the knowledge of the receptionist, in the event anybody had the temerity to insinuate it did occur as it did.

The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel was conveniently situated and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant in the hotel, we stayed on a Monday but many of the restaurants in the area don't open until Thursday so dining out is a bit limited unless you drive into Lancaster.
The only thing was that the website advertised Shower Gel, Shampoo and Conditioner were provided but there was no conditioner

Location is great—right on the seafront. They have a bar & restaurant which was pretty good overall. Breakfast was also fairly good... could have been better but just scraped into the 'okay' category.
The staff. You book because of the BW brand, but the customer service is in the 'Fawlty Towers' category; without the jokes. I booked a disabled room for my 98yo WWII veteran friend, who uses a wheelchair—he has no legs. The room they gave him was in NO WAY a disabled access room, and when I went to change this, I was told it would cost more. In no uncertain terms I told them this wasn't happening. Sadly, they then went through a range of excuses, ranging from "you didn't book with us", "that's booking.com's fault", and even "we're not Best Western, we're independent." My response is if you sell under their brand, I expect you to perform to that brand's WORLDWIDE standard; simples, simple.

Staff were very polite and responsive. We asked to change rooms and there was no difficulty. Breakfast was really good quality and the coffee perfect.
We found getting around confusing. We got lost following the arrows back to reception. Signage could be improved. I recommend being clear of the fire exit from your room.

My husband and I have been staying here for over 3 years, great location and the views over the bay are magnificent. The staff are exceptionally helpful and always allocate our favourite room without request.

The only complaint i had was on arrival the receptionist asking for my card details stated how much i had paid for my room! In front of your partner that is not appropriate as that can be done with more subtlety. How much i pay is private.If the charge needs challenging that is between me and you. I do not need my spend sharing with others including other guests who may be behind me. Let me know your thoughts.
