The staff were amazing. Very friendly and very helpful. Food in the restaurant was also really good. Hotel within walking distance of train, boat and bus station and close to loads of places to eat.

Unfortunately there is no lift but there is only two floors to climb which wasn't too bad. No tea/coffee amenities in the room.

The place is in great location to travel around lake Como, have a nice sidewalk across the street to walk around. The interior of hotel is a bit outdated, but for the price it's ok. The room is clean, the AC was working.

Shower needs upgrade. The hotel itself could use some renowation.

This hotel is in a great location overlooking the lake. There are many facilities within a minute’s walk. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic balcony with our room and a comfortable spacious room. We enjoyed breakfast and had a great stay

It is a bit noisy next as it next to the main road. The bed mattress was a bit to hard for my taste, but overall slept good

The hotel staff was wonderful. They were professional, thoughtful and genuinely friendly. We asked for an additional table for the room, to set up a computer. Shortly after, a table had indeed appeared in our room. The table was heavy, so this cannot have been an easy feat. The breakfast buffet was also a stand-out. The food was simple, but delicious.

The only small issue was the AC in the room. One could get it to work, but it would fill the room with a rather absurd smell, so we never turned it on.

The bed was good, but the pillows were poor - too many hotels skimp on pillow quality..! Freshly-squeezed OJ at breakfast altho' you have to make it yourself with a very noisy and awkward juicing machine which I am sure is not designed for commercial use, being all thin plastic.

The location is not quite the "lakeside" it professes to be as it overlooks a busy road. The main profile photo shows what appears to be a nice garden between the hotel and the lake - which is the reason I booked one of their best rooms at E150. I felt a cheated when I discovered it was not the hotels own garden but a public park on the other side of a busy road. Check-in is a very late "after 4pm..!" Desk sign says checkout is 10.30, (website says 11) but why do they need 5.5 hours to make up the rooms? There is no lift - at least to the lower floors - and the only person available to help with the luggage was the lady owner, which I felt bad about because, although a few years younger than us, she is certainly no spring chicken. The stair carpet is filthy which does not give a good first impression, although the room itself seemed clean enough. There were no drinking glasses in the room - not even plastic cups, just a toothbrush holder. No seatpads for the wicker-type patio chairs. Next to the reception desk is a framed certificate from Booking.com proudly announcing 8.7 rating, but it is dated 2014, nowadays the rate is down to 7.8 and barely deserves that. "10 mins walk to station" is untrue, its a good 20 minutes with luggage and that's downhill and only if you know the shortest route. Arriving it took us at least 30 minutes with luggage as there were no taxis at the station, and none were available by phone when we left. Not really the hotels fault I suppose but we were absolutely exhausted after the long uphill walk on rough stone streets.

The accomodation was very good, the location is perfect(part of the lake) and the view is so romantic and the bed is so comfortable. The receptiom is helpful and close to the hotel there are a lot of free parking place. Everything is so close, we can walk everywhere in Lecco what we would you see. If we go back we will choose this hotel again! Thankyou! :)

We had a lovely time in HLL Hotel, the staff were extremely lovely and helpful. Villi and Gulla

lovely small hotel, seemed to be run by a family. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Large room and comfortable bed. large balcony with seating area, worth paying extra for this. Room was cleaned daily and we were able to store luggage on the day we checked out. There is an excellent pizza restaurant downstairs. Hotel is over the road from the lake overlooking a park with a promenade round the lake. Lecco as a town has very good transport links- train, bus and boat and lots of shops and restaurants but is quieter than other well known towns.

Bed was very hard and seen better days, lumpy pillow. Situated on a use road. Treated ourselves to a balcony with lake views, but couldn’t see the lake due to lots of trees and very noisy due to constant traffic, plus mosquitoes!
