Hotel is close to airport (10 min drive) and opposite beach. Housekeeping staff were lovely. Porter helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and plenty of toiletries.

Check-in staff were cold (no greeting, no smile). We booked for 6 adults and 1 child (aged 7) including breakfast but were told that breakfast was not included for the child and we had to pay extra. Despite showing my booking.com confirmation email stating breakfast was included for us all, staff said they could not accommodate this and to contact booking.com to resolve. Eventually the receptionist agreed to give breakfast as booked, but this was an issue every morning with restaurant staff with whom we had to argue. The final morning we had to leave at 5am to catch a flight and staff advised they would prepare us take-away breakfast boxes. Upon check-out we were told we were not entitled to these as the child had had breakfast every day. Breakfast issue was farcical and reception staff had no sense of customer service. Room was dirty on arrival although housekeeping did a good job during our stay. On-site restaurant very expensive.

The resort was a bit dated, but well-kept, with a really nice traditional style and lovely grounds. It was really suitable for relaxing, and the staff was very friendly. I quite enjoyed the buffet breakfast. It had a fairly wide variety of food choices. The area was very close to the beach, which was surprisingly well-groomed, and a nice walking path. There was also a convenience store on the resort, which was very helpful.

The two issues I had with hotel itself was that there appeared to only be 2 restaurants actually open for dining after breakfast. I only ever saw the Chinese restaurant and the hotpot bbq restaurant open. The food was good, but a bit expensive to eat every night. There didn’t seem to be a huge variety of restaurant options close to the resort. The other issue was that the spa was apparently a victim of the pandemic shutdown, and has not been reopened despite being featured in the resort advertising. The area itself is great if you want to relax at the beach or around the pool, but it was a bit far away from shopping, sightseeing, dining choices, etc. While I’m not a nightlife person, I did miss having a wide selection of restaurants available.

too many people - very busy and noisy everywhere

I really love the hotel itself. It's very beautiful. It's right beside a beach, the pool is amazing. Amazing buffet breakfast as well as option for buffet style dinner. But most importantly, this stuff where extra nice and extra helpful. Especially Wang ziling or lean. He went Out of his way to make sure my stay was as comfortable as I can possibly imagine he even.took the extra steps to check on me every day. This was definitely worth the stay. I would definitely be back.

Only one person speaks English and the rest of the staff wouldn’t even try to, room service you would call and 10 minutes later the only person that speaks English will call back. poor breakfast for westerns, bur if you like Chinese breakfast you will love it.

Chicken bones in the room on the floor when I arrived.... it means, they didn't clean up properly. Breaksfast is low quality
