Lovely and warm, as well as clean and tidy. Very comfortable beds and really nice decor. Nice and spacious. Great location and quiet. Modern bathroom with large shower. Great for a family.

We couldn’t find the washing machine (although probably should have asked!). Communication when we were there took a while longer than we would have expected.

The Luxury Penthouse is located across the harbor, and you can see the Sun Voyager and Harpa from the street. The penthouse is conveniently located near a variety of museums and offers free parking in the garage. Lots of shopping up the street as well. A delicious bakery is on the street front. The penthouse is very spacious and immaculately clean. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and provide necessities. There is also a Nespresso machine which is nice. The bedrooms are very comfortable and provide a relaxing, quiet sleep. Nice to sit on the balcony, there are two. We enjoyed staying in this spacious, quiet flat on the top floor. Having secure, free parking in the garage is a huge plus! The hosts contact you a couple of days before your stay with clear, written instructions and contact number. They also provide a video link to help you with entry into the penthouse and parking garage which is very helpful, making check-in easy. Great place to stay with the family for Reykjavik.

We enjoyed the penthouse so this is not a complaint. Watch the video before arriving so you can easily get into the garage from the street. You will probably need to park car first so you can retrieve the garage keys from inside. The video is very helpful as there are several buildings in this complex. The view from the balcony is not a direct view of the sea, but it is still nice and harbor is across the street.

It was clean, beautiful and it was near everything.

Fantastic location. Easy walk to downtown, and reasonably close for harbour. Comfortable and Relaxed living space .Well equipped kitchen. Perfect self catering apartment. Comfy beds.

Recycling and Waste were a bit complicated, but probably just holiday laziness. For the position and elevation, a view of bay was sadly lacking.

the property was home for 4 nights and the space was lovely. easy to get to, easy to get in, with parking etc. warm and comfy. even random food/condiment items which helped.

the furnishings and layout

we couldn’t get in! the keys were not in the location we were told to collect the, from. it took a few phone calls and an hour wait before someone arrived to pass us the keys. the dishwasher was full, albeit with clean dishes. we found some of the plates in the cupboard were not clean, as they had crumbs on them. the windows were fairly old and during the recent storms we worried they were not strong enough. the blinds moved due to the window coming through the gaps and the noise of the wind coming through the windows was horrendous.

Location was great. Little confusing on getting key. Host was readily available to assist, so it went well overall. Nice views. Cozy apartment. Had coffee available which was nice.

The pictures of the apartment looks better than reality. The place needs a lot of attention, lack of organization (kitchen and main areas), cleaning and the shower is bad, the water splashes and creates puddles everywhere.

You have seaview and it’s few steps away to downtown. Apartment is spacious and well equipped. We had a lovely stay.

Location was great and the flat was very lovely and spacious.

The flat would have benefitted from blackout curtains and the shower screen was inadequately sized so the bathroom kept getting wet.

Great apartment and nice host

Barney was very friendly and met us on arrival - even though we were running a little late due to delays at the airport. He had plenty of advice and was very welcoming. The apartments location was ideal. We could walk out to town easily. The car parking space in garage gave us piece of mind. The bakery on the ground floor of the apartments is a hidden gem - 185 years old and the best donuts in town!

The weather was a bit wet on a couple of the days making sight seeing soggy - but that’s nothing that can be controlled!
