I thought this was a fantastic place to stay. The room was very comfortable and had everything you might need, plus some thoughtful extras such as hairdryer, books, a deck of cards. I was welcomed with a tray of coffee, pastries and fruit. The host was very friendly and always available to answer any questions and help with ongoing travel. I have to say the breakfasts were amazing. It was quite a spread and very delicious with different items every day and obviously prepared with great care. I was very happy with my stay and would come here again if I had the opportunity.

Nothing to dislike.

There was everything to like and nothing to dislike at Seadina Coral Home. I am so glad that I found this property because it is very comfortably appointed and spotlessly clean. My wife and children (ages 3 years and 3 months) were also very comfortable during our stay. I would be remiss if I didn't add a special thank you to the owner and manager of the property, Mr. Chamin, who attended to every aspect of our stay and ensured that we lacked for nothing.

We loved this stay. Owner was super friendly and helpful. Great location and the rooms were perfect accept for those huge mosquitoes! Take repellent, however the nets are provided for good nights sleep. Breakfast was out of this world complete with take away boxes so that we even had lunch covered! Loved the free of charge cycles and snorkeling gear. Oh and free laundry service!!

A place where you are made to feel so welcomed. Shami was the perfect host who went out of his way to make sure my stay was good. The big 5 star hotel chains could learn a thing or two about customer service by visiting some of these small owner run places.

Seadina Coral Home is a treasure of a place to stay. Chaamin is a terrific host and just an all round star. The beds were just right, the rooms shaded and cool. The location was idyllic to the nearby beaches. I can safely say this was one of the most enjoyable holidays I have had in a long time and Seadina was the keystone to this experience. I haven’t even mentioned the breakfasts which are an event in themselves. We will be back without doubt.

The property is ideally located, 2 nearby beaches, both good to see turtles and to swim. Many restaurants nearby however the host will cook if you ask, and wow, fantastic food and much better and cheaper than a restaurant. The breakfast for 1 would have fed 3 easily. The room was immaculate and so was the private bathroom. You can hear the sound of the waves from your room. Only 4 rooms so not busy. Has a small terrace at the back of your room and a patio with loungers at the front. It really is a lovely place to stay. The host is happy for you to come and go as you wish. Chaamin and family, I wish you all the best and thank you for a really good few days.

Seadina Coral Home is an absolute gem in Sri Lanka. The hospitality we received from the host was second to none. We were welcomed with a free lunch and mango juice. Free snorkels and bicycles are available for use. Beds are comfy and rooms are very clean and well decorated with a nice little patio area behind our room. We were provided with an incredible RI Lankan breakfast both mornings for a very reasonable price. There is sea turtles a two minute walk down the road at the beach just outside the famous Doctors House restaurant. An amazing place.

Our host was incredibly nice and helpful. He went out of his way for us! Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.

Best place ever. Everything described in reviews is true. Host is very responsive, kind , attentive helpful person. Every our request was fulfilled , breakfast is the biggest in the world - we were shy that we can’t eat it all. There are lots of free facilities from bicycles to scuba diving masks. Room number is clean (have been living with wife and son - two separate beds with mosquito protection) Place is near ocean : you can fall into dream by ocean sounds, internet is ok escpecially on terrace (about 30-40 mb/sec), 360 restaurant with hi quality food and drink , dr house , Sea sand resort(with very tasty deviled prawns) are nearby, so you can enjoy both of good restaurants and cafes and clean beautiful not crowded beaches around. Thank you for everything, for attention, tasty breakfast, presents for child, we will miss you! p.s. if you like bear , mr. Chaamin knows how to make your happy)

this place was the best where we stayed in Sri Lanka, property is simple, but has everything you need (umbrella, snorkelling masks, beach carpet etc.) 20m to the beach, 2km to city centre, but it was not problem as there was bicycle free of charge. The biggest contribute was made by host Chaami, who is friendly, helping and provides us the best service in this country! Highly recommend this guest house.

Our host is the definition of hospitable. We were greeted with a ‘snack’ and a drink on arrival which was lunch! The Asian breakfast was incredible. More like a three course dinner. So generous. So many free extras - masks and snorkels, bicycles, free tea and coffee whenever wanted. Lived up to his name of Chamin/charming!

Saturday night is party night up the road. You can hear it but it didn’t keep us awake. The hotel is across the road from the beach. Whilst you cannot hear your neighbours there is some road noise.

The best host ever! From showing us safe places to hang out near the beach to arranging transportation back to town, the host went above and beyond every time. The room was spotless, and the surroundings were peaceful. The food was excellent, and the portions were extremely generous for such a low price. There were also a lot of complimentary drinks and snacks!

The property is in a very nice location steps from the beach and variety of restaurants The Hotel seems to be new, very clean in and out. Large and comfortable bed and pillows, cool A/C, mosquito net. Table, seating place, refrigerator. En-suite bathroom with hot and cold water. The room have to doors like across from each other. One open to a beautiful garden with tables for dining and the other, to a private terrace. Very clever and nice design. The best part was the manager-owner. He was waiting with a welcome drink, offer me te or drinks every time he saw me, always with a big smile, and spend a lot of time with information about the best places to see. He also referred me to a friend who was a taxi driver. For US$ 10 , he gave me a 5 hours tour of Matara and the following day, for US$ 20, we went to Galle, the Galle Fort and few beaches along the way. What an amazing guy. He understand perfectly well what hospitality is all about. My thanks to the owner (I forgot his name) for helping me to have so a pleasant stay with the VIP service.

Hotel is a well kept property very ideally located. The room with all modern amenities. Service is courteous polite and helpful. The breakfast spread has good variety. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals and service.
