Communication with Host was prompt and excellent, giving me advice with travel from airport. Allowed me to store excess baggage whilst I travelled for a week. Apartment was very clean and tidy on 25th floor with good elevators. Comfortable bed, good shower. Netflix in sitting area, good internet throughout apartment. Housekeeper always available but left me undisturbed throughout (plenty of spare towels in cupboard). Dining table seats 4, kitchen and cooking facilities. No hassle, helpful reception staff. Location - 500 yards or so from Robinsons Mall (can see from apartment). 100 yards from Starbucks. 500 yards from LA Cafe. Nitpicking, but would be better with heavy curtains or better blinds to reduce sunlight in bedroom in mornings (or turn the bed around so sunlight falls on bottom of bed) Suggest have more information in the arrival pack; local restaurants, bars and tourist attractions as Google wasn't much help.

I didn't like that the place wasn't clean to begin with. There's a 500-peso cleaning fee on top of the rate itself, so I'd expect it to be spotless. We found powder stains and a powder bottle on the table, bottle cap inserted in the couch crevice, and empty vodka bottles by the kitchen table top. I stained the bedsheet (I had my period during my stay) and had to pay 150 pesos for cleaning, which was fine. The problem came when we asked the staff if we can talk to the owner regarding the cleaning fee (just to express our disappointment as to why we had to pay additional 500 cleaning fee when the place didn't seem to be properly cleaned). Logic follows that the previous guest also paid the mandatory cleaning fee, and yet the room wasn't clean. Why charge for cleaning if you can't have the room properly cleaned? When my husband demanded to talk to the unit owner regarding the cleaning fee, the staff became frantic, causing us to engage in an argument with her. She kept on insisting that it was my fault I had to pay 150 pesos. I guess she missed the point we were trying to raise, that it wasn't about the stained sheet, since I already paid her for it, but the cleaning fee (totally separate case). She went on to rant about how bad we are as guests, when all we were asking for was to talk to the boss. She didn't even tell us whether the boss is available or not. She just insisted that we are rude, and she is capable enough to answer our concern, but she wasn't able to explain why the room was messy despite the cleaning fee. We ended up arguing with raised voices, and she even threatened to call security and made a "call" saying we shouldn't be allowed to leave. This aggravated me even more, since this particular staff kept on pointing her finger at me, it was very insulting. I told her, " You can't keep us here, I'll sue you for illegal detention, I swear".
