Heavenly- everything

Poppy Barn was well equipped and comfortable. The welcome provisions were great to get us started. We loved the way the barn has been converted and furnished - someone has a good eye. It made being there such a pleasure. Having the courtyard to eat in was a treat, especially as we had such good weather, and it was in a peaceful location on the edge of the village. We were grateful for the dedicated parking space.

We can't think of anything we didn't like!

the spiral staircase was much narrower and steeper than we expected. we are elderly . wont be a problem for younger guests. the shower room has no ventilation .

Elegant furnishings and decoration. Excellent bed and bedroom

Chairs and sofas were rather low for an older person, and not the right height for the table.

Beautiful property ideal for a couple wanting to explore the countryside and coast in North Norfolk. The property was spotlessly clean and very stylishly decorated.

The bathroom is a wee bit on the small side. There is no Smart TV therefore only terrestrial TV which is unusual for a property of this calibre and The Shed is kitted out with this.

Location was beautiful and peaceful. The barn was lovely and dressed beautifully.

Peaceful location within easy reach of all the places we wanted to visit. The accommodation was superbly equipped with everything thought of for self catering needs…lovely welcome with cake and milk on arrival.

Only a very very minor thing…a mirror in the bedroom near a socket (above window seat?) would have been useful to dry my hair rather than use the mirror in the lounge when others are trying to watch TV, thanks..

Decor excellent. Wifi very good. Easy parking. Well appointed kitchen. Very comforable bed.

Authentic barn beautifully modernised.Kitchen facilities excellent although two sockets for three plus appliances not ideal Most importantly the mattress and topper on large bed were high quality

As we arrived late afternoon and were staying for a week I think we should have been given a runner of the barn and not needed a prompt The worst feature which was totally out of sync with the rest of the barn was the two sofas - abysmal the upholstery worn out and stained in parts the springs completely gone and the padding of cushions disintegrating - along with mattress these are key to comfort and my reason for low marks was this to ensure something is done about it There are many gadgets that require more than an instruction book to understand and should have been explained directly The bed is on a mezzanine floor and unfortunately you cn open window there but there is no flow of air as you cannot leave two entry doors open or Velux windows as they are in ceiling The table is far too high or chairs too low or both and at 190 cms tall I needed cushion as well App of these comments will not be a surprise as I spoke directly to property management staff member

Lacking hanging space for dresses and shirts.

The decor and facilities were first class and everything was provided.

The TV/DVD is complicated and whilst we were shown how it all worked, suggest a reference sheet is left there, rather than the booklets which are no help at all. The "private sitting area " is more of a courtyard which is sparse with just table and chairs. Perhaps some tubs of flowers or trees to make it more like a garden and make it more enjoyable to sit there. Lastly, reversing onto the road is quite tricky - it would be helpful if there was a turning area by the barn, which could be done by removing some of the banked grass area and then paved. It's harsh to have these comments under the " what didn't you like " heading- I am just pointing these out as my suggested improvements. Mariana was sensational !
