Nos gustó todo. Pero sobre todo el spa. Después de un día de turismo darte un baño en agua caliente con los chorritos. El personal muy atento y amable. La gua gua que te sube del Puerto de La Cruz. Se baja muy bien pero la subida es empinada. El desayuno es muy variado. El detalle de abrirte la cama y ponerte un bombón en la mesilla. Detalles 5 estrellas.

El secador un poco anticuado. Igual que la estética del hotel. Aunque está en muy buen estado de conservación.

Staff were very welcoming and attentive. The spa was lovely. We had an excellent dinner in the oriental restaurant. We were upgraded to a suite which was massive.

The outdoor bubbly bed pool was rather cold in January and we would have preferred the indoor jacuzzi to have been a bit warmer.

En general todo nos gustó mucho. Es un sitio tranquilo, cómodo, espacioso. La comida es variada y, teniendo peculiaridades en ese terreno, se agradece mucho que la oferta sea amplia y de calidad. El personal super amable. Un montón de obras de arte distribuidas por todo el hotel. Estuvimos contemplando obras de artistas canarios e investigando un poquito de su obra, esto fue algo muy interesante que no esperábamos. Es una galería de arte!

Nos sorprendió que la música por la noche se oía bastante más de lo esperado, pero no llegaba a ser molesto en la habitación, que estaba dos plantas más arriba.

Excelenter, freundlicher Service, sehr umfangreiches, qualitativ hochwertiges Frühstücksbufett. Man konnte in ruhiger Atmosphäre mit Pool- bzw. Gartenblick draußen frühstücken. Mein Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Zimmer (mit Meerblick empfehlenswert) in höherer Etage wurde erfüllt. Zimmer und Balkon waren von angenehmer Größe und gut ausgestattet. Die Liegen an dem sehr großen Pool hatten äußerst bequeme Auflagen. Es ging mehrmals täglich ein kostenloser Shuttlebus in den Ort. In unmittelbarer Nähe gab es verschiedenste Restaurants, in denen man draußen sitzen sowie gut und preisgünstig abends essen konnte. Ein technisches Problem (TV-Fenbedienung und Föhn funktionierten nicht richtig), das ich nach dem Frühstück meldete, war bei Rückkehr am Nachmittag bereits behoben.

Nur in einem der Abendrestaurants konnte man draußen sitzen, sonst war alles spitze.

Espectacular, como era de esperar. La habitación muy cómoda, más las facilidades para poder alojarse con un perro son un gran punto. El desayuno súper completo y variado, y todo el personal muy amable siempre. Ni qué decir del spa, tanto los servicios como la decoración y visualmente todo el espacio es exactamente lo que uno necesita cuando va a un sitio así. Los masajes también de gran calidad. Todo un acierto.

No es nada malo, pero estaría bien que hubiera una piscina climatizada para el invierno, además de las del spa, a las cuales sí pudieran acceder los niños.

Mein Mann und ich waren Anfang Oktober 2023 im Botanico y Oriental Spa Garden und wir waren mehr als begeistert! Das Hotel ist zwar schon etwas älter, aber wunderschön restauriert. ohne den Charme der alten Zeiten verloren zu haben! Das Personal war absolut perfekt und aufmerksam und schnell! Der Spa Bereich ist einmalig! Die hot stone full body massage wirkte noch lange nach..!

Wir haben tatsächlich gar nichts zu bemängeln!

The restaurants are overpriced but there are plenty of others in the neighbourhood.

Excellent breakfast and good dining options in the evening. Hotel pool, gardens and spa were all lovely. Bedroom was very comfortable and spacious with huge balcony.

The coffee at breakfast - otherwise, everything was wonderful.

One of the best hotels with relaxing atmosphere and nice on site restaurants. Pet friendly. Rooms were big and beautifully decorated. It's a great location too, nice walk downhill to the center of Puerto de la Cruz. Beautiful views at Mirador de la Paz, 10mins walk from hotel. Staff were just excellent! Especially reception, food and beverage and housekeeping. You made mine and Daisy's stay just perfect. Great breakfast too at the terrace of the pool garden. Thanks for all the great care and holiday vibes! We hope to be back again soon, then for a few days longer:)

Nothing, everything was superb.

All the stuff is really very sweet and kind. Amazing cleaning team. The room itself is comfortable and spacious. Late checkout (3 pm) was made for us with any additional questions and free of charge - it’s really nice. Gym is ok. Territory is very green and well-groomed.

Breakfasts are very-very bad. Everything wasn’t tasty. A lot of food wasn’t fresh and served like 2 days in a row. Not rich choice. Vegetables are not eatable at all. Wi Fi is terrible. It almost doesn’t work at the whole territory. Amenities are really old. But clean)

Animal welfare, there is no need for the aviary or the jellyfish in the tiny, empty tank. This might have an acceptable in the 70s when the hotel was built, but not now. We stayed in late February to early March. The air-conditioning wasn’t yet switched on for the hotel as there is a choice of either heating or air-conditioning but not both. We originally checked in to a sea view room. However it was unbearably hot we tried to sleep with the doors open, but the garden was noisy and the sprinklers come on at 4 am, the only solution was to move to the other side of the hotel which meant a room upgrade which, despite being very nice, the public relations manager was rather aggressive in managing the situation. Its quite disappointing to have sleepless nights due to heat in a hotel advertises itself as having air conditioning. The service in the pool bar and restaurant is lacking. We arranged for a late checkout on our last day for which you pay for a package which includes a three course lunch. Unfortunately our starters never came and service was so slow we had to skip desert in fear of missing our flight. This was refunded but very reflective of the service in general. The hotel is very nice of the staff are lovely however, Service needs some work, for someone who never complains quite a few things that I unfortunately had to point out.

I will stay again. Hotel was a little stretch from the town and coast - but ideal to reach the main roads for exploring the island by car. Breakfast had lots of choice, staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful, the place was spotless and the spa was just superb.

Not much! Bed a little tired but I’m really nitpicking on what was an otherwise excellent hotel.

A male receptionist was rude and didn’t care at all about the complaints about strong cigarette smell in the room even if it was a non smoking room. I was really disappointed about that especially while travelling with kids.

The SPA was beautiful but not so clean and the windows were always open...it is not confortable to have fresh air coming from outside when you are in a SPA

This feels like a hidden gem. The garden and grounds and pool areas are absolutely stunning and so well maintained. I used the gym and spa and loved the services. I had a great massage, and enjoyed the different saunas and pools. Their lobby bar has a classic oriental theme that feels rich. Do not miss visiting the elevator landings of all the floors. Each landing is themed with a collection of a famous Spanish artist, which is a curated treat. Overall, was a great experience.

The rooms are ever-so-slightly dated and are due for a re-vamp soon. I didn't mind as the balcony overlooks the stunning gardens and pool area, with the occasional wild parrot flying past. I had a highly negative experience when a maid ignored the DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door and barged in on me whilst I was showering, causing me to startle and fall and sprain my wrist. I reported this to the front desk, but they didn't seem too concerned. Mistakes happen I guess, but mine caused me severe pain and medical bills.
