Awesome quality of the air, due to tons of trees around, even it has a highway not far away. Good accomodation, especially for that price and good food at the restaurant.

The first problem: there was a fire in the hotel. When the fire started the stuff haven't told any of their guests including us. We found out about the fire only when the smoke got into our room. When we opened the door and looked for someone in the hallway to ask how big the fire is one of the hotel stuff (electrician) yelled cursing at us to close our room door. So basically they wanted us to sit in our room and breath the smoke without asking any questions. The fire started around noon and we haven't heard a smoke alarm (even though stuff later were saying that the smoke alarm worked). When we asked a girl from the front desk how come they haven't told any of their guests that there is fire in the hotel and why they havent called the fire department right of way, she said she is not allowed to make any decisions there and she doesn't have anything to say. So let's say if it happened in the middle night some of the guests might have died. The second problem: if we wanted our room to be cleaned we had to ask and every time when we asked for the clean towels they questioned how come we want to have clean towls every day.

it was pretty cheap and the room was big.

That the watertemperature in the shower sometimes switched from the bottom of a volcano to the freezing sea of antarctica within seconds.

It was cheap, and only a 10-15 walk from the metro station.

Smelly shower. The bed was a circle on which the bedsheets did not really fit. The refrigerator was full of mold. Room was in need of renovation.

The area around (a nice lake and park), the relative proximity to the subway.

Smelly bathrooms and neglected (worn out) furniture. But, if you don't spend much time in the room and just come to sleep in there, it is supportable. You just get what you pay for...

Nice location, close to a lake and there are shops close to.

Not clean. Especially the bathroom. It shouldn’t be a three star hotel. You could hear what is going on in the other rooms. I’m not booking this place if I’m coming to Kiev again.
