Beaucoup d’escaliers à monter car nous étions au dernier étage. Un peu étroit sur certain passages pour accéder à l’appartement.

The apartment was not safe for children. We are in the process of applying for a refund. We knew there would be stairs to the apartment but inside, there were two flights of steep spiral staircases without any guards or railings to stop children falling down these. Obviously, we could not stay there with a 1 year old and a 3 year old as they could fall down these in the night. See the photos attached. We notified booking.com within 5 minutes of arriving who phoned the hosts to let them know we were leaving. Despite this, we had several rude messages from the host. We were left with two young children with nowhere to stay. Incredibly disappointed. Even without the safety problems, the loo had a hoover and cleaning products in, the windows opened fully with no locks and there was a metal grate in the floor upstairs. All of this makes this apartment unsuitable for children.

Location is spot on just a short walk from some free parking and near all the shops and restaurants you want. Also about 10mins from the ferry terminal at Dieppe as that is what we wanted

Not really the property’s fault but be aware you are right next to a large church and it is very loud from 0700 onwards so don’t expect a lie in

Apartment is in a great location for Dieppe, close to restaurants, beach, harbour and old city centre.

A functioning airconditioner. The small unit had no outlet for pumping the warm air out of the building.

Reasonably equipped kitchen area (expected items in pantry, etc). Excellent location in Dieppe on a quite small street. Walking distanEasy access to paid and free parking. Easy to get keys - smooth check-in / check-out process. Wifi was acceptable. Television with a handful of local channels was available.

HORRIFIC VALUE FOR MONEY. We booked an appt a price of US $816 for 2 nights (2-bedroom, sleeps 7). There were 67 narrow steps to the apartment with one way in and out. Had we had a suitcase or small children we never would have made it to the front door. Had there been a fire, we never would have made it to safety. Once in the front door there were another 15 or so steps to the bedroom. The "dining area" consisted of a home-made board/table hovering over an area of staircase (a portion of which was right at the edge of the staircase) and a slat of wood on another portion of staircase acting as a bench (see photos). We couldn't get it to stay open as a table so didn't use it. There was what looked like mold in the bathroom (see photos), the sheets were old, threadbare and, in the bunk bed area some bedding appeared stained. Four of the "beds" were tiny mattresses arranged on built wood shelves/bunks in a small room that I can only describe as a closet (see photos). Our 12 year old daughter could not stretch out her arms in the room without touching the walls (widthwise). There were no closets that we found and the only space for our bags was on the floor on the living area as there was not sufficient space in either bedroom around the beds. My husband could not stand up fully in most of the double bedroom space as the ceiling was slanted. While it was close to the city centre and (mostly) had the expected amenities (with the exception of towels- we were provided with two small towels only and had to request more). I understand that Dieppe is busy in the summer but we stay in accommodations in Dieppe often as my husbands elderly parents live there. In the 10 years we have been securing accommodations in Dieppe this is by far the worst value for money accommodation we have stayed in, and the worst accommodation we have booked.

Cost/performance ratio is top, location is great
