Location is great and very cooperative and friendly staff.

It was a nice and basic place, but that's what you get for your money😉 It was quite sentral, only a 4min drive away from a shopping area, and there was beautiful nature around the area. The bathrooms were clean and fine to use.

The cottage we had was super cold at night (and we were there in the summer). Only wish there was better heating in the room and then I would have been quite satisfied. (Be aware that there is communal bathrooms which are quite old).

Nice quiet location and a relaxed atmosphere around the property. Room had everything you need. Attentive and helpful staff.

The common kitchen could use more equipment.

I stayed in the hote section; it was very clean; the showers and bathroom are common for a hallway. There was plenty of both for visitors. Each room is a bit simple but efficient and effective: wash basin, cupboards for clothes and things; 4 bunk beds (reasonably comfortable); reading lights; a small dining table and chairs. If you are traveling in a car with food, this hotel is an easy stay. This is my second stay here: it is improved since I was there in 2020; the staff are still a little stiff; the breakfast in 20 was not especially good.

It is a little far from the center of town of Oppdal. If you are planning to do things in the town or in the area around, you have to have a car. Oppdal has a few nice restaurants and standard pizza/burger joints but these are a bit far for easy walk.

The room was quiet enough and the mattress comfortable.

Back to the 1960s. The little cabin I hired had none of a facility one expects in 2020. No kitchenette, no bathroom, not even a sink with water. Everything is located in common areas in separate buildings The night before, in the same city I paid the exact same price for a cabin that had all the above mentioned facilities (kitchen and bathroom) + TV and Wifi.
